Would an ICS m4 tappet plate fit a G&G gearbox?
I kind of fucked up and bought an ICS reciever where the fire mode lever is too far back to work properly.

AAAW FUCK ITS FOR AN ICS SPLIT GEARBOX
I have been wanting to get into the GBBR world for QUITE some time now. I have a question.
KWA LM4, WE M4, or the KJW M4?
I don't see anyone running the KWA in my area. The WE is very common here, and to a lesser extent, so is the KJW.
I understand that the WE needs lots of parts replaced with RA-Tech over time. I know that the KJW is stuck with the Thermold mags and that the charging handle likes to crack.
Which one guys?
The WE runs best stock, the exception being whatever you choose for air restriction and barrel group. All stock parts are available cheap from Evike, so repairs are no worry. Theres no need to replace things with RA-Tech, because once you replace one thing, that part will wear all of the stock parts around it, and the only acceptable replacement is more RA-Tech. The main negative to the WE system is the fact that you WILL snap nozzles. Its just something thats planned maintenance, where you keep one or two nozzles as spares for when it happens. Its an easy fix, and nozzles are like $7 or something ridiculous like that. The WE system seems to be quite efficient, and there is a decent aftermarket, even sharing some compatibility with the real steel market, for things like charging handles, buffer tubes, upper receivers, and things like that. Most GBBR AR's share some parts compatibility with real steel though. Wulf will be able to give you some input on the KWA system. Don't know anybody with KJW.

And Zao has a G&P WOC if thats an option for you. That thing is pretty sweet.
Here's a nice guide to WE/RS cross compatibility
One thing to note is that RS charging handles actually require a small amount of modification to fit WE M4s

Yup, I love my WOC. I can't speak for the WOC-X, but the steel version I've had for almost 2 years now and I've been beating the shit out of it since with the only failure being a cracked charging handle, but it's compatible with RS (with a little modification). Definitely an excellent weapon.

The lm4has really good gas efficiency and cool down resistance but the stock hopup is terrible. You'd have to get a ra tech hopup and you'll be golden. Other than that my other well known complaints are heavy mags and lack of aftermarket support.
My recommendation would be the we since it preforms well and has excellent aftermarket support
An obscure one: Can anyone remember the name/URL of that website that did 3rd party 'part finding' in Japan for airsoft bits for forwarding to other countries? There's a small part that I just can't find anywhere, and I remember seeing the website about a year ago but can't find it in my history.
I want a Galaxy MP5 PDW but no one has one in canada. Are there any asian websites that offer a service to put a stronger spring in (366+) before they send it?

No idea when it will be back in stock but there is one, it was in stock like 2 - 3 weeks ago.

Mousecop and I basically shared an LM4 a few months back and it was a damn good shooter.
The only problem I encountered with it was that full auto fire would occasionally crush BB's in the chamber.
Say, are there any particular brands of spray paint that people would reccomend for giving their AEG a new coat?
Rustoleum Camouflage or Krylon Fusion Camouflage are my go to brands, in the US they can be purchased at almost every hardware store and walmart, not sure about the UK though.
You can get Krylon in the UK, but I'm not sure about Rustoleum.
Probably best to look around online. I think some Airsoft retailers might have Krylon, I can't recall if any hardware stores stock it.

That lm4 had also seen some shit and I wouldn't be surprised if the nozzle was warped slightly.

I used to have that issue in mine. the problem is your barrel is unseating itself from the brass par that holds it into the outer barrel. take your inner barrel out and take some paper towel or something and wedge it in there to make it seat a little tighter so it doesnt come apart as you shoot. once I did that I never had that issue again.
How long should two 8oz cans of green gas last with a WE G18C? I'm talking like, amount of magazine fills, not length of time.
Since I'm giving my CM16 a new coat I could do with some advice on removing the RIS. I've managed to remove the four large hex/alumn screws but from there on I'm stumped. Manual doesn't really help me, either.

Provide pictures of the area you need. Not all RIS are created equal
Undo the grub screws on the barrel behind the front sight, remove the second part f the barrel, and the RIS slides off.

I think I've found them, had to push that circular plate back to be able to access them though. What should I use to get it loose? Don't seem to have an alumn key that fits.

Any of you guys have experience with the KWA AK-74? I've been eyeing it if I ever decide to switch rifles.
[editline]30th December 2014[/editline]
I heard the bolt doesn't cycle full-stroke when it fires, so that's kind of a turn-off if it's true.
[editline]30th December 2014[/editline]
Also Gorka sizing please send help.
[editline]30th December 2014[/editline]
Looking to wear it as a BDU, not as an oversuit. I'm 5'10 with a 32" waist and a med BDU top size what do.
gordon, theyre definitely hex keys, fairly sure that those 2 are imperial though
Pretty sure they're 1.5mm grub hexes.

Not really sure by what you mean when you say you want to wear it like a BDU, but it sounds weird and I'm not sure it would work with the way the Gorka is designed.

I just mean I want to wear it a little tighter and closer fitting than normal, I don't want it to be ridiculously baggy like an oversuit, more fitting like a BDU. I understand that it's meant to be baggy, but I want to buy a little small since I don't want it to be too baggy.

They're not too baggy, since a little goes a long way for fitting over clothes. Think of it more as a big jacket than an oversuit.
Here's me in my Gorka that I ordered for my exact size, if that looks a little large I'd probably go one size smaller than what you'd normally wear:

That looks about perfect actually. Is Bars a decent brand?
[QUOTE=Zao Medong;46824376]That looks about perfect actually. Is Bars a decent brand?[/QUOTE]
Yeah, oversuit sounds like some sort of awful nightmare, but in reality they're nowhere near as bad as you think. However, Gorkas in general are not what you'd think, they're kind of warm and kind of waterproof, but not super great at either. I'd say you're good wearing it by yourself down into the 40's, but after that you'll want extra layers. You can also wear them into warmer temperatures, but you'll probably be pretty uncomfortable if you're moving around in anything over 80 degrees.
Bars is cool, they're on the lower end of the quality scale, but still good and still used by real units. My Gorka has had 2-3 buttons shot out, and a few holes shot in it, but that was all after the zombie OP where my body conducted a survey of how many BB's fit in the average high cap.
