Allright guys. The big moment. I'm saving up money, what would you guys recommend as a starting weapon? I've got £80 in wonga to use. Im also planning to wear something like MSF'S uniform from MGS5 and PW. Or do you guys think i should proritise on camoflauge?
I've recommended this site to another Brit just starting out.

These are great if you haven't got UKARA and they're good quality too, comes with the rifle, battery, smart charger, mask and a bottle of Good quality BBs.
Good stuff
Oakley M-Frame SI best eye pro
Don't forget a HELO kit
Damn, I would really love to use M-frames at my field, but they only allow full seal goggles. The closest thing I can use are boogie regulators, but everyone who uses them locally fog like a bitch. Even after the foam mod and sometimes even after using anti fog.

Good recommendation on the gun, but - just incase it hasn't been mentioned - it's usually best just to rent of borrow for those first three games so that you're not having to run around with something bright green/red/blue that will be a bit of a pain to remove the paint from later once you get UKARA registered.
The recievers and stocks are cast in green instead of black or tan by G&G themselves from that website.
I've "repaired structural and cosmetic damage" on mine with camo wraps and duct tape on mine.
But do as above says, play games and rent first. Try different guns too. My site rents out both CM's and CYMA AKs.

Guys I need goggles that aren't cheap shite.
Transparent, not mesh preferably.
Also ones that don't fog up like mother fuckers.

My field only allows "goggles" and they are mainly a paintball field so they wont let me use what they call "shooting glasses"
can anybody tell me if this pattern is real

Looks like it might be Kamysh, or a similar variant. Its most likely real camo.
Yeah, looks like SPLAV's Woodland Kamysh
Right, I found a place nearby to me, called Urban assualt. Is £50 (including hiring gear, guns and all that) A decent price?

The field I go to, in order to get onto the field with field owned guns and eyepro, it runs $35USD. At the next closest field, they don't offer rentals, and there's a $20USD Field fee.
Not really an airsoft question, but no other forum to ask this.
I was wondering, I am going to save up money to buy a firearm, I am trying to decide between the Glock 17 gen 3, or the Zastava Yugo m92 AK Pistol
The glock is $500 and the Zastava is $430, I am planning to get both, I am saving up a $100 every month to go toward it.
I just need to decide, which one should I save up for first? I am having such a hard time deciding.
This will be my 2nd firearm purchase, I also have a Mosin Nagant
What would you be using both of them for?

You know there's a Facepunch firearms thread right?
Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means discouraging discussion of real steel around here, I do it all the time, I'm just saying that there is a thread for that.
Cheap BB's can shatter on impact and go straight into your eye if you wear Mesh goggles. and no one here in Kansas City will ever judge you for what you're wearing when you show up in plain clothes. If you're worried about blending in (like in a woodland setting) then pick up some camo, but otherwise, you don't HAVE to worry about it. I play in 100% humidity on the regular and my Desert Locusts have only fogged if I get to a point where there's no airflow. All you gotta do to prevent that is pill all of the foam out of the liner, like this.
I live about 30 min from KC for most of the year and 100% humidity for the Midwest is like 2% humidity for the South. I can get away with non-mesh goggles when I'm up there, but down here it's just not gonna happen. There's not a single player at my 150+ field who wears anything but mesh.
If you buy the right kind of mesh (the type made from a solid metal sheet with tiny holes drilled in it, not the wire kind), the holes are small enough that the most that would come through is dust, so you'd have an irritated eye at the absolute worst.
All I'm trying to say about the camouflage thing is that if he's already going to drop cash on a gun, there's no reason not to spend another $10 on a set of surplus BDUs. There's no reason to encourage more new airsofters to become the type who spend all their money on guns and never spend a dime on gear. We call those paintballers.

It normally varies from about £20-£40 for full rental depending on where you go. Does seem a bit steep though.
Not if it's a CQB site.
There's only a handful of those in the UK
Bit late to the party, but re: full-seal goggles that don't fog up ever, I've had good experience with Arena's Flakjaks (or however they spell the name)
Only problem I have is I wear glasses so while the goggles themselves never fog, my glasses tend to fog underneath them :(

I got a gen4 glock 19 brand new with all the bells and whistles for $400 flat at the Orlando gun show.
What you're getting the Glock for is not a bad price but no means a good one.
When i get back from australia, I'm going to upgrade from my cm18. I'd like a full metal construction, although its not the most important thing. I'd also like a free float rail instead of the delta ring / triangle sight. i'll make my budget $600 for the stock gun. should i go VFC?

Ooo, that's the place owned by fire-support.co.uk (who are one of the biggest airsoft retailers in the UK).
Although this may be looking a little far ahead, get your UKARA form now; print it and fill it in ready to go. A larger site like this may want to keep a copy and/or keep a record of each time you go; some sites are ok with just recognising that you've been to your three games and will but fairly hassle-free but this isn't always the case. Make sure someone there is aware you're going for your UKARA.
Oh and bear in mind that you'll have to do all three games at one site in all likelihood.

Jesus you could buy some nice shit for that kinda change in the US. I dunno what it'll get you in Canada though.
Anyone have a spare FP-393 diamond patch they're willing to part with? I really want one and the guy that was selling them refunded me and refused to send me one when I asked what was up, said he wanted to wait until there were more orders, which means I could be here for fucking ever waiting on him.

Yeah Canada sucks the ol dickaroo when it comes to the prices of high tier guns. G&Ps are usually 400 ish, the Vfc 416 is 6-700. It's fuckin ridiculous.

Ask in the patches thread, hell probably send you one now
I've been wanting to get a 6094 plate carrier for a while now, but definitely can't shell out enough cash for the genuine article. Does anyone have any recommendations on which reproductions I should be looking at? If at all possible I'm trying to keep the cost of the actual plate carrier around $100-$150.

basically the only option. At $150, its an absolute steal. Its the same or higher quality than LBT, made in the USA, and its just all around the best option if you want a 6094.
Okay shoot me for asking about video game loadout stuff, but do any of you guys know what the fuck this beef guy is wearing on his arms under the PCU? It looks fly as hell and I want to do it.
