So if i was planning to make this thing in airsoft form, what parts would i need?

I'm thinking A1 grip, LE style stock, 10.5 inch barrel, no idea about the front handguard. Could MAYBE use an MOE grip and stick some rails to the side, but I'm not sure.
I know the type of front sight i could use, but not the name of it.
For the handguard you could get away with one of the handguard rails that level with the upper receiver rail and then just slap on rail covers on the sides.

Anyone know what rail covers these are?

They're one of the variety made by Tangodown.
Thanks, found em.
Where'd you get that idea? I have a KJW and an HFC mag, the KJW has worse gas use (it can hold 20 rounds but reliably fire only around 15), but isn't in two parts like the HFC and Marui and can take quite a beating. My HFC's mag lip broke whereas the KJW is still running fine.
Honestly speaking though, I think that if you're going for low price P226 mags, the HFC mags are a better choice, they're not quite as durable as the KJW mags, but they're cheaper, have a better gas performance (but hold only 15 rounds) and have a prettier finish.
um you realize that kjw mags are in two parts too right
from what i've experienced the screw-together p226 mags>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pin-together

One of the best look-a-likes to that handguard is that LR300 one, but I doubt anything matches it perfectly.
I really wanted to buy the A&K lr300 and just drop a better gearbox inside of it.

Wait wat? That's definitely a VLTOR Modstock. And a PRI front sight, like on the Mk12 Mod 0 SPR
It looks nothing like a modstock? It has no bulges on the side, it's just an LE stock without the holes.
[img_thumb]http://www.brownells.com/userdocs/products/l_100004296_1.jpg[/img_thumb]
a PRI front sight seems to be what i want but it's not completely hooded, it has a gap at the top. I guess that's what a hacksaw is for :v:

That's an LE stock man. Look at the shape and the rear of the stock.
And YHM and a few other companies make replicas like that front sight. I think G&P does too.
I'm p sure there's a bulge, look at those two "C" shaped things at the front and back of the cheek weld area
I've been looking at that model all day, and there is no bulge. The Cs are just markings.
Here's a different angle, to show what i mean.
[img_thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/ports/NT_2013/zr68_u3.jpg[/img_thumb]
The shading in between them is also slightly different than the rest of the stock, but w/e
.. what is that from?
looks weird af
my guess it that the stock is supposed to be a crane stock. But I dunno.
Well there's def no bulge in that photo. My mistake. Weird markings, it definitely looks like a bulge in the first photo.
The gun is from a HL2 mod called Neotokyo, i've been porting it to gmod and modifying it and shit and i've taken an interest in it so i kind of want to make an airsoft version, which is why i was asking.
JG is basically TM compatible right? So this'll fit on my JG G36:
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_RIS_Systems_G_P_G36K_RAS_for_Tokyo_Marui_G36K.htm
I really like the slanted front RIS, every other one on the market is just an ugly block cut off.
Also, I'm making a list of externals for my G36 that I'm going to get when I can actually start buying airsoft stuff. Right now it's:
RIS: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_RIS_Systems_G_P_G36K_RAS_for_Tokyo_Marui_G36K.htm
G36kv stock: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_113_546&products_id=30060
Magwell converter: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_90&products_id=28767
Literally the only top rail I can find in stock: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_90&products_id=36003
My only predicament is that either I buy all these parts to make my G36 have an effective rail system, M4 magazines, and an adjustable stock. OR I can just buy a G&G Combat Machine Raider that'll have all of these for less than the cost of all the parts.
Any help?

All of those should fit no problem. As for G36 vs. Combat Machine, its all personal preference. Combat machines are cheap and cool as well as giving you the option of trading you G36 for one, but very generic and use a V2 gearbox. On the other hand your G36 setup would be expensive, but it would be unique and still great.
You won't have a bad time with either option, but you should go for what you like the most and make it work for you.

well obv, I meant at the main body
Is this Walther P99 DAO any good? Unsure which brand it is, though.

I believe all Walther guns are Umarex, so probably not great.
Not great? Not bad, but not exceptionally good? Is it a somewhat good gun?
May I ask, What was wrong with dboys & ICS again?
Not speaking from personal experience, but their internals are supposedly China quality.
[editline]16th May 2013[/editline]
Does anyone know which brand this USP Match is and if it's a good gun?

My first guess was KWA, but then I saw the Umarex and realized all brands look similar if they're the same model. I probably just don't know how to identify them though.
I've always liked the idea of taking the KWA's USP Match ambidextrous slide catch and safety then putting it on a regular KWA USP

It's KWA, the HK45, MK23 and USP models(except for the CO2 USP) are KWA.
KWA is good, right? It's gas, but it doesn't say on the website if it's CO2 or not. It does say it's mostly metal.

I'm pretty sure that's the pistol I have.
Not great, but not bad. Gets the job done I guess but you might want something better.
Edit : No you WILL want something better, I only really used that against relatively new people and generally low-end guns. Still not awful, though.
I've already decided to get a USP Match, by (hopefully) KWA. Thanks anyway.
May I ask, What was wrong with dboys & ICS again?
Dboys internals are shoddy, and quite disappointing, but their externals are generally okay to good quality. ICS has no consistency in their quality. Many here joke about ICS standing for It Can Suck. Because it can. Or it might not.
