I used to have issues with my AKs body pins, I just sanded down the grooves so now it's easy to remove but still holds in place well

This is the first time I'm taking apart my Dboys. The Cyma is super easy to take apart and always was, so I don't see why the dboys pin is so hard to get out.

Yes, quite a lot in some instances, and even just using a suppressor can have the same effect.

So I've been considering getting a G3A3. I've been looking at a few second hand TM G3 SG1s for sale (mostly due to the lower price), but I've not seen any TM G3A3s. Do TM Make a G3A3? If not, who else makes them?

And also since i bet someone here knows, where would i get wood furniture, and how much work is required to use the stock on an AEG?

there's really only tm, ca, and jg and you can't find the first two anywhere

i would say robertrtg for the wood but they're out of stock

i believe you only need to modify the part where the stock joins the receiver

if you're using an original g3 stock it should already have a hole large enough to fit a battery (don't quote me on this) but if you're using a cetme stock the hole is only big enough for wires and/or a really tiny lipo

I'm not in any massive hurry for one but if a TM G3A3 comes up for sale moderately cheap then i'm gonna go for it if they're actually any good, i've grown to expect decency from TM guns, but if their G3s are heaps of shit then now's the time for someone to inform me :v:

robertrtg was my only idea for where to get the wood but they seem to have been out of stock forever. It says they'll get more in, so if that does happen then cool, but i don't know where else to look if they don't.

And i'm kind of getting an urge to slap a carry handle on any G3 i buy, but i dunno if they'll fit on airsoft ones.

Well I can't give an AEG comparison, but putting one in a GBB turns it into a laser as long as you have a decent hop to begin with. I shoot better with my Glock than any other gun up to probably ~150ish feet.
Considering how much I love V3 type hopups, I imagine it would also do a fantastic job for your gun too.

Not at all, its a standard AEG barrel with magic thrown in.

people still think tk twists add a rifling effect to the BB, which in turn would not allow the hop up to work, when IRL its just a cloud of air around the BB

I got my G3 wood from [url=https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=1691&idcategory=51/]here[/url] but they're also out of stock. To fit it to an AEG you need to cut off the recoil spring rod and drill out one of the screw holes to make room for the wiring (there is a central hole that's for a recoil buffer type thing that you obviously don't need; that's the one I drilled out) The only types of batteries you'll be able to fit in there though are stick types, as there are the 2 pin holes that run through the stock

So my local airsoft store still stocks CA G3s (or at least has a couple in stock) so i could get one brand new if i wanted.

I've heard they've got metal bodies which is rather appealing, but not a lot else about them. Are they worth looking at?

Full stock CA G3s have problems with the stocks snapping off.

My birthday is in early July and my chances of finding another job between now and then are looking pretty slim.

But, my parents would probably be willing to drop about 100-130$ on a Birthday gift for me.
