So, I'm currently stuck with a WE Hi Capa and 3 mags for airsoft. My birthday is in early July and my chances of finding another job between now and then are looking pretty slim. But, my parents would probably be willing to drop about 100-130$ on a Birthday gift for me. Would buying a Galaxy MP5K from Amazon be a smart decision?
Galaxy mp5k is a wonderful gun
what should I check on an m4 that isnt firing due to something in the electrics besides the fuse and connectors and motor tabs?
Trigger contacts are another good one to check.
So my local airsoft store still stocks CA G3s (or at least has a couple in stock) so i could get one brand new if i wanted. I've heard they've got metal bodies which is rather appealing, but not a lot else about them. Are they worth looking at?
>Get wood furniture >Get rad
That's the plan. wood G3 = best G3. At least if the CA G3s are famed for having weak stocks then putting a real one on will (hopefully) fix that issue.
does this look burnt to the point of not functioning? How well do the two fit together? If you can push the trigger block between the contacts with little to no resistance, then you should try pinching the two tabs closer together, so they make as much contact with the block as possible.
i dont think its the trigger contacts, its not the motor, its not the fuse/connectors
Looks fine to me. Sure the cables are intact?
Stupid question, but you are using a charged battery, aren't you? That could be the problem if you've not checked :v:
Yep. I could just replace the entire wire set and see if that fixes it I already need a new stock because the LE stock was jammed on so I slammed the butt of the gun onto the ground and it snapped off
Rifling + Hop up in a tightbore barrel? http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=43128
Okay I eliminated every possibility for the gun not firing besides the wiring/trigger switch is just bad or some shit, so I guess ill order a new wire set
I've picked up a few GBBs for movie props but none of the retailers around here (Northeast Ohio) seem to carry green gas and I have no idea about the quality of the stuff I'm finding online. Could anyone give me a recommendation as to what brand I should be looking for and where I can get it from?
propane [editline]27th May 2013[/editline] anywhere
also get some 100% silicone oil, which could be bought most anywhere you can get propane bottles. then get a propane adapter like this one http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=28551 Remember to clean and lube your gun, and every so often, take off the adapter, fill the neck of the bottle with oil, then put it back on and fill your mag. As long as you take care of it, it should run fine. Are you actually going to put rounds through it, or just dry fire? I'm curious.
Okay so it turns out that most of the fields near me are dual airsoft/paintball hence why full face masks are necessary. Something about insurance requirements. It looks like I'm going to be needing a full face mask to play anywhere, so my question is: what paintball style/full face mask allows you to actually use iron sights and/or optics (and have at least some form of cheekweld)?
Hardly any when it comes to actual paintball masks.
So Ive accidently knocked out the small rubber peice out of my hop up, ive disassembled the hop up, but how do I get the rubber peice to stay in place on the lever that moves it?
I put some silicone oil on it, makes it stick to the lever just enough to let me pop it down into the hop house and make sure it sits securely. This is with an AK hopup, I don't know what hopup yours is but since you're mentioning a lever I'm guessing it's an AK.

Its an M4 one but I think silicone oil should work, thanks, I'll give it a try. It worked perfectly thanks.
So how the hell do I adjust and re-size a ciras?

Evike sells a knockoff (w/out fan): http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_154&products_id=37547 The cheek cover is flexible, but I can't say how good the mask is. There's also one on ebairsoft but with the fan: http://www.ebairsoft.com/goggle-full-face-version-with-black-p-2309.html

You sure they don't allow ballistic goggles? [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] The only way you could use ironsights is if you don't have a stock on the gun or something with paintball maskes, or have a folding stock like on a G36c
or riser like fuck
Some fields allow full seal goggles, but most fields require full paintball masks only. Here's a facebook thread from a local marketplace group if you feel like reading something. Would this work?: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31222 Seems to be as low-profile as you can get with a paintball mask but judging from the reviews aiming isn't looking to good. And I would look really pay2win/speedsofter as well. I think I'll try what Ninja Duck linked since that seems to be a viable choice.
i have one it's okay wouldn't buy again
So do you have a hard time aiming with irons/optics or is it manageable? "Okay"?
dye i4 can and jt pro-flex should be able to
