So how the hell do I adjust and re-size a ciras?
open up the back panel and undo the metal cord from the straps. then adjust the straps and retie the cord
$100+ for a Dye i4 :c I hate airsoft in Hawaii.
open up the back panel and undo the metal cord from the straps. then adjust the straps and retie the cord
Honestly it sounds like such a pain in the ass I might just sell it and get an RRV
also get some 100% silicone oil, which could be bought most anywhere you can get propane bottles. then get a propane adapter like this one http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=28551 Remember to clean and lube your gun, and every so often, take off the adapter, fill the neck of the bottle with oil, then put it back on and fill your mag. As long as you take care of it, it should run fine. Are you actually going to put rounds through it, or just dry fire? I'm curious.
Thanks for the advice. And to answer your question: Both I guess, depending on what environments we're shooting (footage) in and what we need the guns to do.
I have a spring L96, and I finally have the opportunity to use it, however when I pull the bolt back to load air into the cylinder, nothing happens. The bolt still has the tension of pulling back a spring, but it doesn't lock the cylinder into place and hold in any air, and by extension, wont fire anything. Its essentially a spring-loaded bolt that doesnt stick back. Any idea whats wrong and/or what I can do to fix it?
slam fire?
save phace is what i use, but i dont look down my sights anymore
slam fire?
It doesn't fire at all, no mater what
but when you pull it back does it spring forward [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] instead of locking back [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] does anyone know if there is a way to just slide/drop the lower receiver & gearbox out of a tm mp5 without taking apart the entire thing
Yes it does
how
open up the back panel and undo the metal cord from the straps. then adjust the straps and retie the cord
I opened that shit up and now it fits me like a glove. Your vague comment saved me from quite a hassle. Thanks man!
Hi i'm a retard who bought a TM M16A3 used at the local shop. The problem is, it's all plasticey and the plastic on the lower reciever broke where the pin is, so the pin now slides out whenever it feels like. I'd like to get a fullsteel or at the very least potmetal replacement but I have no idea where the hell to start with this.
When i had to use a paintball mask, i just cut a bit off the cheek of the mask so i could get a nice weld.

They're made of various aluminum with some being plastic. The general consensus for the best brands of externals are VFC and G&P, with KWA being close in quality but their receivers are proprietary. G&P bodies are very common and can be had on most major retailers (evike having the best selection stateside.). G&P receivers should fit a TM. I actually have a G&P magpul lower I'd part with if you want.

I've looked around on AirsoftGI and the only barrels and handguards I've found are carbine length or shorter, and I've never been able to actually find a full length M16A3 hanguard. However, i'm also worried that once I take it apart to put this on i'd never be able to put it back together. Furthermore, are there any upgrades I should do to the gun since (as far as I know) the gun is stock?
Nope. Keep it stock.
It's absolutely possible. They're also fairly simple to put back together with some basic know how. I wouldn't upgrade anything in a TM until it breaks. But I'll also say that if you're worried about not being able to reassemble the body of wouldn't go near the gearbox.

How much would you be asking for that lower?
Probably like 30 shipped. Got the body pins and the mag catch and all that jazz.
Probably like 30 shipped. Got the body pins and the mag catch and all that jazz.
I may end up buying it, but I'm currently away from home, so I won't be able to give you a definitive answer until around saturday, if that's alright.
Sounds good
WE M9 mags. Are they any good compared to KJW M9 mags?
they're ok [editline]29th May 2013[/editline] they didn't kick as hard as my kjw mag but that was solved by putting a spacer under the top rubber lip

You can always scratch it off/repaint it if you want the gun and don't care about the lower.
