subpar internals compared to asia ones my friend's evike g&p standard m4's piston stripped in 1.5 weekends of playing
The evike ones are factory b's and have past generation internals
all the evike ones? because they have an xm177 in stock w/ colt trades and i was thinking of going and picking that up because it's a little bit cheaper than buying from ehobby
I've got an Evike G&P, and it performs wonderfully. I kind of like the G&P USA trades anyways.
The bundeswehr use SAAVs, ja? Also, are JG full length G36s just as good as their G36Cs? I seem to remember hearing something about the G36c being the best.
they're literally all the exact same gun except for the furniture [editline]31st May 2013[/editline] like actually exactly the same my fullsize came with a c length inner
Okay, I can't find anything JG in the UK except G36Cs, are Ares, Classic Army, or SRC any good? EDIT: Or, would I be better off getting a G36C and fitting it with a new carrying handle, handguard, and outer barrel?
if you can't find the JG, go for the SRC. that's the advice you'll find anywhere.
someone ID the brand of this rifle for me, im not sure if its JG or Cyma. The serial number on the inside of my lower starts with CY, the gearbox shell is painted black, and thats all I think can ID the brand [URL="http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_211&products_id=32876"]http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_211&products_id=32876[/URL]
cyma
as long as it wasnt dboys im good
I have enough cash to buy a JG G36c off of amazon. The only problem is the sellers are airsoft megastore, an unknown company, and airsplat. Which should I buy from, or should I just wait and buy something else? Edit: Nevermind, comments are saying they've received Double Eagle LPEGs instead of JG G36s. I'm just gonna save another hundred bucks and buy something from my local shop.
As far as i know, Airsplat is pretty much not even worth considering.
What color gear works best with tiger stripe? I like black but all black gear seems to have a negative connotation within the airsoft community.
OD + Tigerstripe works best, in my opinion. I don't think black looks as bad with it as it looks with other woodlandy patterns, since tigerstripe has at least some black in it, but i think OD looks the nicest.
khaki/coyote works nicely. that's what I wear and it works [editline]31st May 2013[/editline] with tiger stripe that is
Would UCP kneepads look weird on Desert MARPAT?
Yes.

Thanks guys.
[QUOTE=FloaterTWO;40860424]As far as i know, Airsplat is pretty much not even worth considering.[/QUOTE] Besides the disgusting website, I've never had an issue with them.
Their BBs are horrid though One time I ran out of the .25s I usually use Bought airplat .25s Shoots like .2s Never again :tinfoil:
Hey guys, beginning airsofter here. I've done some questioning around on which brands would be recommended - here's a small list someone posted: ICS: Makes quick change spring/gearbox systems so it's very useful to have in both CQB and field gametypes. Externals feel comfortable and are made of stamped metal. They can have a beating and still be useful. (nothing about internals that I could find though) JG: Clone of TM. Has less quality control and uses cheaper stuff and are very good starter replica's (again nothing specific) KWA: Good performance, bad quality control, chance to get a lemon is quite high. G&G: Most popular brand for starting airsofters. Good quality replica's for less cash. Systema: Elite brand, etc, blablabla. Too expensive for the amount of times I'm going to skirm anyway. VFC: Godfather of the externals. Solid construction, strong metal. Realsword: For Russian and Chinese weapons, Realsword is the way to go. Cyma: Cheap, fairly reliable, easy to upgrade, decent performance out of the box. Ares: Makes replica's of most modern weapons. Look very good, but the original poster says he's heard some tales of very bad internals. TM: Good externals, reliable internals, can use a beating but it can't go harder than 300FPS, don't open the gearbox. Did I mention not to open the gearbox? Now I've been thinking and ICS, VFC, Realsword and Cyma mostly get my preference. What I'm mainly looking for is a replica that'll last me a few years, and I won't have to do much painting or adjusting or whatever else. I've got a fairly decent budget so I'm willing to spend more cash on a well-made replica. I never really liked the word 'starter', there's something about it that makes it sound less reliable to me. If anyone knows any more brands please let me know. Also please share your experiences with the brands you have.
g&p g&p g&p [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] ares sucks [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] classic army exists but kinda sucks [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] LCT makes nice aks
ics can suck and most of the time it does
vfc is very nice tm is very nice cyma is pretty nice considering cost
So I guess that narrows it down to VFC and TM. How's VFC's internals?
what do you want exactly
vfc internals are pretty nice. The only not-great things in them are the thin wires and the self shimming gears, but neither of those should present huge problems as long as you dont push the gun too hard. [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] g&p also has nice internals & externals if you buy from asia
[QUOTE=the_killer24;40864958]what do you want exactly[/QUOTE] Something sturdy and reliable and doesn't look cheap.
[QUOTE=Recurracy;40864931]So I guess that narrows it down to VFC and TM. How's VFC's internals?[/QUOTE] VFC internals are great except for the wiring, piston, and self-shimming gears, the motor isn't the best but it still does it's job. TM internals aren't all that great, they're weak.
