Now uh, how should I carry all these MP5 mags? I currently just use a leg rig, should I get like a triple MP5 mag pouch and mount it directly to the belt, or save and get a MOLLE vest? Or, I could get those CYMA short mags, and put them in my handgun mag pouches. What do?
let me know what you wind up doing, I just got a mp5sd and I dont know what the hell Im going to do for mags/mag placement. where are you going next weekend?
is it bad if my gearbox only does full auto even when its out of the receiver? im guessing something is up with the cutoff lever
let me know what you wind up doing, I just got a mp5sd and I dont know what the hell Im going to do for mags/mag placement. where are you going next weekend?
I've only got the hicap that came with my MP5k right now, but I'm probably going to get that 5 pack of King Arms mags and a triple mag pouch for my belt. The only problem is MOLLE can be pretty loose on a belt, and I'm worried about having enough space to fit anything else I might want. And, I'm not going anywhere next weekend..

Stick 2 MP5 mags side by side and they take up the width of one STANAG, so in a doublestack pouch you can easily fit 4 mags. If you're running a basic belt-only rig, you should get a 2x doublestack AR mag pouch, like this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_101_296&products_id=1150 put any/all pistol stuff on your dominant side of your body, and then get a dump pouch on either the front or back of your belt. I highly recommend having it in the front, as it blocks shots to your dick as well as well as allowing you to make sure you don't drop mags on the floor. For your battery, I'd run an 11.1v lipo, both of my Galaxy's have been on those for their entire usage, and they are at well over 50K rounds without any gearbox maintenance or breakage whatsoever.
anyone?
I already said its probably something with your selector plate.
any idea what with the selector plate?
What's the cheapest place to get combloc style tank crew helmets? I'm talking about this sort of thing: So I know there are shitloads on ebay, but the prices vary a lot and I'm wondering if anywhere sells them for super cheap that I don't know about.
My buddy recommended that you look for Czech ones since you can find them for cheap and they look pretty much identical to Russian ones

I was thinking of carrying a maglite to use police style with my Hi Capa. What's wrong with Herf's suggestion? -snip- Just fixed a wiring problem in the MP5k.
Anyone know of a place that can make that new style of callsign patch but with red text?
What are your opinions on MAG M4 Magazines? The 130 rounds plastic versions that is.

So I might need a new bucking, and I wanna try out REAPS. Which one should I use with an M110?

das ok, I flat hopped it and it works fine now
Operator would be the most expensive by far, and the Bundeswehr isn't going to look right with a G36c.
Rate artistic for Bundeswehr loadout with flektarn pants and shirt, PASGT with flektarn helmet cover, OTV in flektarn and black boots along with my g36c(yeah not really gonna buy a g36) [t]http://de.academic.ru/pictures/dewiki/66/Bundeswehr_G36.jpg[/t]
If that's the look that you're going for then that'll work fine, for the most part. The helmet you're looking at there isn't actually a M88 PASGT, but a M92 Gefechtshelm. The have have actually recently begun using more and more MICH 2000's for deployed troops in Afghanistan, which if you wanted to do would change the pattern you'd want from Flecktarn to Wustentarn / Tropentarn / Desert Flec. As for the plate carrier, the used an IDZ vest at the time, which may be worth finding due to the weight difference over an OTV. The IDZ is made almost entirely out of lightweight material or mesh, with a zipper in the front. But in the picture is Bristol Body Armour in Flecktarn (Thanks herf, you fuck.). But more commonly they just wear a CIRAS.
I'm getting a new primary in the foreseeable future and I've been looking at some sweet-as-fuck GBBR's, but I'm not sure. AEG's are much cheaper for the same overall build quality, cheaper to feed, and you get a lot more firepower (in terms of firerate and magazine capacity). But GBBR's are so fucking cool. And, I am a stickler for authenticity. Talk me out of it, FP. ;__;
If you live in a colder climate zone I'd recommend getting a Datona Gun kit instead
need a cheap, good, spring pistol for plinking. Any recommendations? Build quality and accuracy are important
need a cheap, good, spring pistol for plinking. Any recommendations? Build quality and accuracy are important
KWC P226, it performs on par with most GBB pistols, the only downside is it being spring powered. killer_24 and some other IFAP members can attest to this
