need a cheap, good, spring pistol for plinking.
Any recommendations?
Build quality and accuracy are important
Good luck finding something to fit that. For plinking, I'd recommend a CO2 revolver. Can be found on your preferred airsoft website.
KWC P226, it performs on par with most GBB pistols, the only downside is it being spring powered.
killer_24 and some other IFAP members can attest to this
KWC P226 best Walmart gun. The mag release on mine broke though. It easily shot 50+ feet though, even with .12s.
don't want CO2 anything I'm too cheap for gas lol
what about the UTG Tactical M1911? seems like ok reviews for a springer apart from the stiff ass slide.
(has to be on amazon too, I have a gift card to there)

What is the most reliable source of airsoft information and reviews on Youtube?

well shit
headed to kiev in july, is it worth trying to buy stuff there to resell here/other places?
I have a local who speaks the language, not sure if milsurp is easy to find in ukraine.
Alot of relic condition stuff comes out of Kiev. There are some good finds, but you have to know what you're looking for. Also keeping in mind that certain things you will not be able to bring through US Customs

I brought back 8mm IS brass, 2 bottles of latvian spirits, a clock from an An-2, and a bottle of polish vodka last time I went, and took a couple ammo cans
I think I'm good.
Well, I have a generally good knowledge of soviet gear but I don't know what will resell well.
Going to Berlin and Riga this summer. (Petrogradski trip canceled RIP in peace) what do I do. I really want either LATPAT or Lithuanian woodland camo.

LATPAT is still illegal to sell in Latvia. If you find a set it's still going to be $700+.
yeah, just keep it clean and lube it and it will be fine.
[sp] except for the fucking hopup arm in my LM4 keeps bending out of shape because KWA thought it would be a good idea to use brass, a very malluable metal, to hold tension and my RA TECH EVO 2 arm hasnt left Hong Kong yet [/sp]

My mom and dad both have Latvian citizenship. Can anyone give me an idea on how hard it'll be for me to buy some LATPAT? Mainly looking to get BDUs and maybe a helmet cover.

Citizenship might make it worse, because its illegal for Latvian citizens to own LATPAT, and its illegal for it to be sold AT ALL in Latvia.
Unless you stumble into the black market, I wouldn't count on getting it at all.

Well shit then... I guess I can try to get Lithuanian camo since Latvia probably doesn't have any Russian or Soviet stuff. Or maybe whatever I'll find in Berlin like flecktarn/whatever Germans use nowadays.
Assuming you make it to a surplus shop, I've got no doubt that you'll find great stuff. Considering how many uniforms you can find in a US surplus shop, I imagine there will be a nice mix of things when you're in a landlocked nation.
You could probably ask itsjustguy for tips since he lives there.

pretty hard, it's actually easier to get US patterns and Flecktarn stuff there than LATPAT.
Was in riga last summer myself
Since my question apparently got missed before, i could really use some answers. What are your experiences with MAG M4 Magazines? The 130 rounds plastic versions that is.
mine jam constantly but thats probably because I have not lubed them recently but after I did lube them again they still jam constantly.
also, once the follower jams and you cant fix it, you are basically fucked because you cant take apart the mag any further
on the bright side, mine hold 170 bbs

How hard is it to get modern Russian surplus or Lithuanian camo?
And when I said flecktarn I was referring to my trip to Berlin.

I know, I'm talking about my trip to latvia. Flecktarn is common there too.
Russian surp is pretty easy, didn't see any lithuanian. I'm headed to vilnius this summer as well so I might be able to pick something up.

Hoshit well then I guess I might realize my dream of a K6-3 after all.

anyone know of any places that have crye airflex kneepads in stock besides crye (which charge $15 for express 3 day ups shipping when I live under an hour away from them) and gss gear, which are on pre order?
[editline]13th June 2013[/editline]

BDUs mainly and maybe a helmet cover. Lithuanian woodland looks really nice.
I'll try lol
if I get it and you don't buy someone is getting hurt
(and yes I actually do buy stuff)

(genuine pla not police shit)
Maybe, maybe.
Or I'll probably just sink all of my money into Russian stuff so I can join the Rossian club.
I'm looking to mount one of the scopes I have laying around on my M14. I have a G&P ARMS 18 mount coming in:

and was wondering if that'll sit level with something like this:

So I can mount it a bit forward.
When my MP5k starts failing to fire on semi, and I have to switch to auto, fire, and switch back to semi.
Is that just my battery being low or what?
lock up on semi is common
something to do with firing it in semi too fast
