Also, I noticed that my Galaxy MP5 has this problem worse than any of my other guns :v:
lock up on semi is common something to do with firing it in semi too fast
Is there a fix?
uhm getting a faster trigger response will usually help a lot because you can fire faster without running the risk of not completing a cycle. [editline]13th June 2013[/editline] shimming can help
Is there a fix?
Yeah, its almost entirely because of the low ROF with the stock battery. It shoots soooooo slow with that 8.4v its easy to let go of the trigger before the cycle has finished. So you can do two things, practice holding the trigger longer, or buy a higher voltage battery.
The DBoys SCAR-H is on the better side of clone SCARs right? If I could get one for $100 used and probably broken, would that be good?
go for it
The DBoys SCAR-H is on the better side of clone SCARs right? If I could get one for $100 used and probably broken, would that be good?
Depends on what's broken. If it's an external part it might not be as easy to replace or repair as I doubt they're widely available.
My SCAR-H is currently out of commission because the air nozzle broke and I can't find them in stock anywhere. Also, I'm missing a ball bearing out of one of the selector switches. These $10 in parts is all that's keeping this gun from working, but tracking them down is a bitch.
I received my first Hobbyking order. Am I supposed to charge my lipos in 'LiPo Balance' mode?
yes [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] it balances the cells & charges the battery at the same time so yeah
What is the point of the 'LiPo Charge' mode.
3.7v lipos dont need to be balanced, or if you are dumb and dont want to balance a battery when charging which is perfectly fine as long as you balance it every few charges [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] you might as well just charge it via balance mode
I use nicd am I scrub y/n
I use nicd am I scrub y/n
Old school. yes nimh at least bro [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] nicd are kinda like wut
I use nicd am I scrub y/n
I've only ever had one of those in my life. I traded it with a friend for a 9.6v NIMH because he was dumb.
whatever happened to the echo1 GAT?
can anyone identify this weird iron sight?

Dammit, I've seen it in one store but apparently it's gone now.
Got a question about a GBB pistol. The slide isn't going back completely when firing, thus it only cocks again, but doesn't load a new BB. The recoil is also a lot less than it should be. How do I fix this? I think it doesn't eject enough gas, or something like that.

Are high torque motors the ones with much raw power or the ones that spin faster? I keep getting them mixed up.
High torque motors have more torque. High speed motors spin faster.
high torque motors get up to top spinning speed faster, which is why they are great for trigger response
I know I said before I settled on a 416, but then the gk5 came up. So, I bring the most generic of questions. Which ones better? http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/g-g-gk5c-gl-airsoft-aeg.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/umarex-vfc-hk416d-v2-aeg.html Im not going for any specific impression but I would like to stay away from M4-alikes (hipster). But I do need something that takes stanags. And Ive heard generally great things about the 416 so thats why I had my eyes on it, despite it being a m4-alike.
416s are like really common since zero dark thirty released and a ton of people have them now so like gk5c [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] 416 looks so much like an m4 i just consider them m4s as much as an s-system or casv is an m4 [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] sorry pig i still like your 416 though
You probably have a weak hammer spring, what gun do you have again?
WE M1935.
g36 is giving me lots of overspin sometimes half the time it shoots just fine on semi the other half it will burst fire anywhere from 2-5 bbs. also it resets the spring in a compressed state on semi anything i can do?
a heavier spring [editline]16th June 2013[/editline] or maybe a FET would work
