heavier spring and then short stroking
i dont want a heavier spring shit is already hard enough to get back together
overspin heavier spring ab mosfet that will cause a ton of extra motor heat and kill your motor faster choose one
even lower gear ratio
fuk
But that would likely cause other side effects
i think mine is the standard 18:1
You should try a set of 13:1s with the same spring.
wouldnt that... increase my rof?
Yes. IIRC overspin is caused by excess torque. Lower ratio gears would "use up" some of that excess torque the same way a stiffer spring would.
but that would allow the piston to complete a cycle with fewer rotations of the motor [editline]16th June 2013[/editline] making my problem worse???
I don't think that's how it works. You motor has to work harder with a higher gear ratio, like when you're on a bike and shift all the way up. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] Anyone else care to chime in? [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] Basically, the problem arises from the motor having too light a load, causing it to complete more than one cycle. To cure this, the motor must be given a heavier load. This can be accomplished two ways: heavier spring or faster gears, the latter of which would be utilizing mechanical (dis)advantage. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] Speaking of gears, are SHS gears still supposedly shit? [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] Or you could switch to a shittier motor and/or battery, but who wants to do that?
i cant believe that the titan a2 has too much torque even with an m120 spring the magnets in it are so powerful too i had all my pins and screw in a heavy duty ziploc baggy so i didnt loose them, and i had them stuck to the motor i pulled the bag off the motor, but then i noticed a pin still sticking to the motor it ripped THROUGH the bag this motor legitimately scares me
i use lonex a2 with like an m110 or m115ish spring and 13:1s with no overspin (yes I use 7.4s but ive tested with 11.1s there is no overspin) [editline]16th June 2013[/editline] when I have a screw driver I need to magnetize so I can pick up screws with it I drag it across my m4s pistol grip 10 times and boom
What is a good DMR rifle that can reach targets a good distance?
real sword SVD [sp]*cough* notrabies *cough*[/sp]
What is a good DMR rifle that can reach targets a good distance?
designated marksman rifle rifle
My one-point sling came with an extra attachment that clicks into it rather than the normal one, it's literally just a strap of nylon, not long enough to tie around anything, what's it for?
What is a good DMR rifle that can reach targets a good distance?
Galaxy MP5K. Absolutely not a joke btw, a very small amount of work can make these things shoot disgustingly far and with decent accuracy, although you'd need to put in a fair amount more work to make them more accurate than a standard AEG. [editline]16th June 2013[/editline]
Take an AEG, slap some quality internals in there along with a tight bore, decent hopup/bucking, some heavy BBs and boom you have a DMR.
Not quite, 90% of V2 based hopup designs are awful and will never perform as well as the same setup in a V3 based hopup.
Galaxy MP5K. Absolutely not a joke btw, a very small amount of work can make these things shoot disgustingly far and with decent accuracy, although you'd need to put in a fair amount more work to make them more accurate than a standard AEG.
Why is it any more suitable for 'DMRing' than any other AEG?
Why is it any more suitable for 'DMRing' than any other AEG?
The one key distinction between the varied airsoft gun designs is how the hopup chamber is built. The MP5K is my absolute favorite by far, as it is the most capable of holding a precision setting, applying a ridiculous amount of hop, and having minimal flyers. Galaxy makes their hopups very well, to the point that its almost the same in quality as a TM hopup, and with their indestructible gearbox shooting at a CQB safe FPS you can still outshoot almost every field gun. While the Real Sword SVD has the best hopup ever designed, its also very expensive, and only really beats the MP5K's design in accuracy and precision. Despite almost a 100fps difference in the guns, my Galaxy only shoots about 25-30 feet less than the SVD.
I need a hopup bucking for my MC51. The stock one is torn. I'm relatively new to airsoft so any suggestions are appreciated.
Thinking of getting a noveske amplifer for my MP9 for maximum brick-shitting. How effective would it be on it?
I need a hopup bucking for my MC51. The stock one is torn. I'm relatively new to airsoft so any suggestions are appreciated.
MC51s are fucking sick, I was very close to buying one had my coin landed on tails (or was it heads I forget) G&G green buckings are good
Anyone knows when ebairsoft gets stuff back in stock(tmc brand if that's any helpful)? It's been over a month since i made the order, i don't mind waiting though.
ebairsoft is unreliable as fuck from what i've heard
whatever happened to the echo1 GAT?
Saw one at the E1 booth at Airsoft Nation
On Evike's boneyard page are there any good deals?

Does the Galaxy MP5K and the Galaxy MP5K PDW share the same internals?
yup. The only differences are the muzzle and stock end cap
