[sp]or maybe someone bought it within the last 3 hours[/sp]

twas in stock when he posted
I wouldn't be surprised if most if not all boneyard guns are one-offs or very small quantity.
It'd be nice if an UK retailer had a similar thing. It'd be cool to pick up a project gun like that on the cheap.
yup. The only differences are the muzzle and stock end cap
also the inner barrel is like an inch longer.

battlebelt or no battle belt?
I like battlebelt but it's a bit of a strain on your hips depending on how much gear you've got on it.
it would just be stuff I already run on my riggers belt, just now on my battle belt.
what size/width velcro should i buy for helmets?
that shit you get with the industrial-strength adhesive backing would work pretty well right?
Don't most people just buy a large sheet and cut it?
I dunno, the store near me just has wide strips
Wide enough to cut?
[editline]17th June 2013[/editline]
It depends what style of helmet velcro you're going for.
[editline]17th June 2013[/editline]
A 2x3 inch rectangle on each side is pretty much the basic setup. Then there's strobes, counterweight pouches, etc.
they're like 3 foot long, 3 inch wide strips
what's the best, minimal-drag way to secure an MS-2000 to the back/top of the helmet? just slap a piece of male velcro onto the back of it?
I'm no expert on the subject, but I've seen it done, and it looks like it works fine.
This velcro best velcro. Also comes with just the right amount to cover a mich.

new question is side panels or no side panels on my MOPC. I have nothing to put on then, they would just be there for looks. I have faux cardboard sideplates in them for bulk. HOWEVER, the whole point of me doing this loadout is so I would have something cooler to wear for summer, because my IBA is like putting myself in an oven. I should be getting my backpack tomorrow.
See if you can find elastic side straps compatible with it
You don't need to. The MOPC comes with buckles built in in case of optional tactical cummerbund deletion. :v:
Is it an absolutely terrible idea to glue a wobbly scope that can only fit one one rifle so it won't wobble?
Does someone has a good experience with some tactical boots? Seems there are very bad ones for quite expensive:/ Just wonder if any has for airsoft and especially duration and running.

Bates, Corcoran, Belleville, or Altama are all excellent choices
I think you guys should expand the gear section of the guide to include items such as boots, cammies, etc.
I like Merrells. They don't look like combat boots, but they still fit in with an airsoft load out, and you can use them for hiking, every day use, and stuff
Are there any tactical advantages to using "specialized" weapons (LMGs, Bolt-Action Spring rifles, submachineguns. shotguns, grenade launchers) to a regular AK or M4 AEG?

I use Timberlands and they're great, albeit heavy.

Most fields have different rules regarding dedicated sniper rifles and LMGs, pertaining to FPS, mag capacity, fire mode(some fields are semi only, but allow FA from LMGs), etc. Also, the APS2 and VSR10 hops are superior to most AEG hop ups, and they have more cylinder volume than a standard AEG cylinder. Both of these attributes allow them to have better range and accuracy once you get into the higher levels of airsoft sniping. As for SMGs, they're generally just lighter than ARs
Is it an absolutely terrible idea to glue a wobbly scope that can only fit one one rifle so it won't wobble?
What part of it wobbles? Is it where the scope mount attaches to the rail? If so add a couple layers of electrical tape over the rail then attach the scope to it.
Alright, I'll try that.
On an unrelated note, does anyone know if the ASG SVD scope fits on the A&K spring SVD? The site says it does, but I'm not so sure. It slides on for the most part, but the last bit of the mount just refuses to mount on.

It should, PSO style scopes have adjustable tension, so there should be a way for you to lower the tension a little bit to get it that last little bit on.
Well, this is how it looks, sketched in paint:

The red part is the moving block that's supposed to be the tension. The green part is the spring that keeps it there or something.
Compare it to this:

The tension isn't even applied, so it should just slide on without a problem, but the most left part of the mount doesn't fit or something. I marked it with the obnoxious cyan blue in the sketch.

Its either not going to fit or its just one of those things where you have to put it on at an odd angle. I know I often have to put a few attempts in before my scope catches on the rail, so hopefully its just that.
is airsoft IPSC even alive in the US anymore?
I really really want to get into a race pistol.

I'm not sure, but I'd build a race pistol for the fun of it, if its good for shooting targets, its good for shooting people. While my Glock 34 isn't crazy, its definitely a race pistol and its very very good in a skirmish.
