yes dboys aks are pretty nice
cyma has better internals afaik
Mhmm. DBoys AKs have arguably the best externals for clone AKs, and their internals aren't half bad either
if cyma make sure its a vfc clone
thanks guys I really appreciate it
I need some guidance before I can be as Tacticalâ„¢ as you guys
Whatever you decide to get, be sure to check back here first
Also my brother's friend wants to get a lmg for his first gun, and is actually thinking about getting a $400+ m249, a mk23 or a m60
I just laughed at him hoping he was joking
[editline]asdfghjk[/editline]
same kid actually just bought a clear shotgun springer from a friend for $35 which he constantly points at my face and fires (I actually painted it for him lel), he's bought a $40 cybergun or whatever walmart brand m14 which broke after a week from him fuckin around with it, and a cyma m14 which I dont know what happened to it but it doesnt feed anymore (probably easy fix)
Haha, I'm about to drop about $600 all told on a Stoner 63(mk23), but it's far from my first gnu. If he's serious about it, I'd recommend the 63, just because of all the positive feedback here, the light weight, and it's G&P :v:
Yeah I've heard that the mk23s are really solid guns and the design is sex anyway, that'd probably be the lmg I'd get if I ever got serious into this haha
If I were to get a 74 should I get some extra midcaps with it too? I hate the sound of bbs rattling around the mags haha
Midcaps are pretty much the best overall mags, so yes.
yeah that's what i've noticed with friends guns, they seem to feed a lot nicer too
also do you guy's think a wg co2 revolver is a little too powerful for games :v: I've got one and its the only sidearm I have so I dont want to put any holes in people haha
Yeah it's pretty much a horrible choice for a sidearm, you'd have to use it at a distance you normally use an AEG. Forget about going CQB with it, unless you lower its power which is possible with some hacking.
Still, they're best for backyard can shooting.
Why are everyone hating on the Dboys M4s? The later ones they produce are good. I got one, and I'm satisfied with it, although, I'm changing out the interior of it, so stock i don't know. But it's a solid gun!
I'll make sure to kick him in the dick and force feed your advice down his throat thanks.
Does dboys make decent/good ak's? I've been looking for one and saw their aks74 and it seems they have one with the skeletal stock too

[editline] asshole [/editline]
or should I just get a cyma 74s or something???
don't get this one it's non-full steel which means externals are worse and internals suffer a severe drop in quality
should I just tell him (force him) to get the combat machine with the battery and charger package?
he's set on getting a ~~tactical railed m4~~~
[editline]fghjk[/editline]
just showed him, "the fps is less than my gun/its not all metal/it will only shoot 20 feet/my gun is god and there is nothing wrong with it" and my favorite of all "it doesnt sound good"
tried explaining to him that the metal is cheap and might crack/scratch and the internals are bad but he wants full metal and wont spend more than 160-180 so looks like he's getting a bad gun
thanks for your help guys, if he wont take your advice I will :v:

For the same price your brother can get a Dboys SCAR which is way better and still satisfies his need for ~tactical railz~ and ~full metal~ unless he's going to bitch and moan about a plastic lower receiver even though it's like that on the real gun.
Has he seen the Combat Machine Raider?
It's polymer or whatever, but it has rails and a few of my friends have them, easily one of the best AEGs I've used.

dboys ver2 gearbox
ehhhhhh
I told him that a lot of modern guns use polymer for the recievers and it's like that on the real steel versions and he just says "what that's so dumb why don't they make it metal"
I should have punched him
yeah just let him buy bad stuff because clearly he doesnt care about anyone elses advice
Does anyone know if the Sun, Wind, Dust goggles are suitable for airsoft? I was just thinking because the plastic is quite thin and I'd rather find out before I go and play, get shot in the face and the goggles break.

thanks guys :v:
one more question, has anyone purchased anything from scopeandlaser.com before? their sights look pretty fair priced and i've heard that the shipping is fast, even if it is from hong kong

only if they're the ballistic model

i wish tac error played airsoft
he would be the best source on cold war guns/gear ever
An LMG is not a good first gun IMO. You really have to know what you're doing to make it more than just an unnecessarily heavy assault rifle.
I wouldn't say that's necessarily true if he's getting a G&P Stoner.

All I was saying was that if he's dead set on getting an LMG as his first gun, then the Stoner 63 would be the best choice
I wouldn't say that's necessarily true if he's getting a G&P Stoner.
But the G&P Stoner is a pretty big investment for a player who might end up not wanting an MG at all.
One of the guys on my team originally wanted to be a machine gunner, but after playing a few games realized that he much preferred just a handgun and grenades and going as HSLD as possible- a complete role reversal. If he'd bought a machine gun, even something light and wieldy like an MG36, it'd just be gathering dust.
IMO it's better to start with a rifle or SMG and figure out what you like before investing in any more specialized gear.
I'm gonna rewire my gun tomorrow. I got 16AWG wiring, heatshrink, deans, new trigger contacts and motor contacts, and some soldering experience. Any tips on how I should go about doing it, such as measuring the wire? My friend has a soldering iron and heat gun.
What I do is solder one end(usually the trigger contacts) then just lay it down until it reaches the other end(battery, motor, whatever) the cut the wire and solder that
anyone heard of Tiger 111HK or AirRattle? I found some CYMA CM047C rifles for sale on there but I'm not sure if they're legit
need to know before I make a purchase
