My friend has it, it has a plastic receiver. It's also a TM design, which is a major pain in the ass. CYMA's VFC clone AKs are way better, both externally and internally(I have a CM048M)

You need real USGI ones that have the ballistic lenses. Most of the ones you find online and in surplus stores are the ROTHCO reproduction, which are not suitable.
You will be able to tell a ballistic lens from the non-ballistic lenses. They're much thicker, and often will say "ballistic lens" or have an impact rating etched acros the top of the lens just under the rubber frame

Nah, I'm not getting the stoner, at least not for a while. I'm not really into heavy guns

The Stoner M63 is literally one of the lightest machine guns on the planet as far as real steel goes fyi
I know that for an LMG it's light, but still I'd rather have an AR or SMG
ARs are literally only like 1.5 pounds lighter than the M63. ARs are a touch under 8 pounds, the Stoner is about 9.5 - 10. Once you slap any shit on the front of your AR they weigh the same
