Is ebay a good place to buy Revision DLs from? They have them for all kinds of different prices but i have concerns that some might be shitty clones or something instead. I've heard if you remove the foam it stops them fogging but i can't recall if that was the DLs or another type of goggles. If it's on the DLs, does it fix the fogging issue completely? And would they work with a brassguard?
ebay's fine foam removal is good advice for every goggle with thin vent foam (which dls are) removal fixed 90% of the fog on my land ops they work with a brassguard
Now i wish i'd asked like a week ago so i wouldn't have to put up with my shitty shooting glasses on saturday :v: i'll order a set soon.
Lately I've been missing my old WG revolver, so I want to buy the ASG 8" revolver. I mean, shit...

Considering how cheap it was, I haven't regretted my 6" at all even though I've only used it in about 4 skirmishes.
The thing I hated most about mine was how everyone wanted to play with my giant silver revolver. I could get past the fact that I'd need to change Co2 three times a day, that it was retardedly heavy and that it only had 6 shots. But I'd be in the middle of a fight and dead people would be asking me to see my gun. Like, really...

Mine got something near 250 shots off a CO2 canister. But yeah, people have the same reaction to my shotguns sometimes, I'll be holding a corner and they'll just tap me on the shoulder and ask what it is and if they can shoot it.
Any Canadians here have any luck finding tri-shot shotguns that aren't obscenely expensive? I'm just looking for one around ~300 FPS for CQB stuff.
This weekend I'm thinking about going to HVA both days this weekend. Help what wear? I'm like a teenage girl the night before prom. I've got an Pantac LBT-1961a so I can do something operator with M81 or OD's or something. So it's down to 80's US infantry (M81, ALICE, PASGT), Vietnam with solid OD's, or Vietnam with ERDL top, OD pants. Or operator. Anybody have any ideas? It's hard to decide, I can't believe i'm actually asking you guys this.
I remember Ender having a revolver that had 24 shots, channelling air around one of four bbs stacked in a single shell with some weird device.. I want to see that again
I remember Ender having a revolver that had 24 shots, channelling air around one of four bbs stacked in a single shell with some weird device.. I want to see that again
Its the UHC, their not too good.
(Question for Canadian airsofters) So I've been seeing lots of guns for sale under 366 fps. The law says it needs to be over 366 and also CQB place in toronto says 350 limit so I am confused. I asked Airsoft Canada but they banned me straight away. Has the law changed or what? Or do people just give jack squat about the law?
over 366 to import iirc you can downgrade the spring once it's in canadia [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] obviously canadians feel free to correct me if i'm wrong
Wow I feel like an idiot now for buying a $20 spring, putting it in, it chrono'd 355, had to go buy another to make it 400.
the law requires it to be AT LEAST? Why would laws require them to be 'at least' that doesn't make sense I am confused
Canadian laws are weird if it is over 366 it is a non-restricted firearm if it is under it is classified as an illegal firearm or something dumb like that. Also .22g bbs used to have to be used for chronoing in canada.
the law requires it to be AT LEAST? Why would laws require them to be 'at least' that doesn't make sense I am confused
because canadian legislators wear their pants on their heads
the law requires it to be AT LEAST? Why would laws require them to be 'at least' that doesn't make sense I am confused
If they're to weak, they're classified as replica firearms. And thanks to decades of the Liberals in power, they think "oh noes kids can buy replicas of prohibited firearms and use them to rob banks :downs:". A few years after the Conservatives came in the airsoft laws became a little more sensible but still kind of dumb, although as far as I know this was all the RCMP's doing and didn't go through the government at all.
So uh, Hobby King's shipping prices make my purchase cost too high, so I'll be buying a LiPo and Charger package through ASGI. Unless you have better suggestions? Edit: Nevermind, those are out of stock now, fuck.
hobbypartz [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] buy lipos from hobbyking and thunder ac6 from hobbypartz
buying airsoft lipos probably the biggest waste of money you could ever
Just tried to buy from Hobby King and my payment didn't go through. I'm just going to buy from ASGI to save myself the hassle, that was a huge pain in the ass.
if you read the fine print in the facepunch terms of use it says that if you buy lipo chargers/batteries from airsoft retailers you get b& [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] please dont do it [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] http://www.hobbypartz.com/
buying airsoft lipos probably the biggest waste of money you could ever
But Lipo's were the recommended battery type...?
buying airsoft lipos
I am genuinly confused
But Lipo's were the recommended battery type...?
LiPos made/branded by airsoft manufacturers such as echo1, firefox and socom gear and sold by airsoft retailers. They cost almost twice what you would pay for a lipo on hobbyking/hobbypartz. Same with chargers and whatnot.
http://www.airsoftoutletnw.com/11-1v-1000mah-socom-gear-lithium-polymer-battery-8-xcr-lipo the socom gear xcr 11.1 (my friend actually bought one of these, something which i will never let him live down) http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17288__Turnigy_nano_tech_1300mah_3S_25_50C_Lipo_AIRSOFT_Pack.html the turnigy nanotech stick 11.1 as you can see you can buy seven of the turnigy lipos for the price of one socom gear lipo and the turnigy ones will be better
and then you can wire all the turnigy ones in parallel and have a 9100mah 11.1

That's why customs is so anal about importing airsoft.
