Naw, TM makes the best trishots.
What's the best M16A1 AEG for under $200 USD? (With triangular handguard, although I doubt anyone sells M16A1s in Hollywood fake-A2 mode.)
doesn't exist the closest would be the jg at a bit over $200 without coupons (but which is also not completely accurate) but your best bet would be to save more and get the g&p which is the best
What are you talking about? JG, CA, G&P, TM and KA I think all make A1s.
Should have figured that would be the answer, i'll look towards some other model then. Can't really justify spending a whole lot for something I might not get the chance to use anyways. Really wish someone would just open a venue around here so I didn't have to travel 400 miles to maybe play.
I was interested in a SPAS 12 by Tokyo Marui, but I've read that the internals are week and may brake. Can someone confirm?
I wouldn't necessarily describe it as weak, but if you use it heavily it is pretty much guaranteed to break sooner or later and then repair is impossible.
I wouldn't necessarily describe it as weak, but if you use it heavily it is pretty much guaranteed to break sooner or later and then repair is impossible.
Oh... wanned to buy it not only because it looked cool, but also to use it at games (because of the first reason). Kinda dissapointed really. No other options?
The JG has the wrong stock(and I think the wrong barrel), and all the good ones are over $200
Okay, really stupid questions time: I just got my first AEG/serious airsoft rifle and it includes a battery/dumb charger. Should I charge it right out of the box or does anyone think it already charged? I'm afraid that I'll overcharge it if it's charged to begin with. It's a DBoys RK-05.
Plug battery into gun, shoot until you can't shoot anymore.
I'm not really in an area at the moment where I can load the AK with a shitton of BBs and just start firing, so I'm not really sure how I can safely discharge the battery (I don't have a discharger) [editline]1[/editline] It uses a Ni-MH battery, by the way
Oh... wanned to buy it not only because it looked cool, but also to use it at games (because of the first reason). Kinda dissapointed really. No other options?
Well, what sort of options are you looking for? If you mean ways to repair the TM SPAS, yeah, no options. If you mean SPAS-12s, there's a KTW but it's not a tri-shot and is pretty garbage from what I hear. If you mean tri-shots, a cheap M3 clone does the same thing as the TM version and costs a fraction of what the TM does, so you can replace it if/when it breaks. Now, keep in mind, I'm not saying the TM is made of fine china and will break the first time you field it. Some people have used them continuously for years with no problems. But some people have had them break the first week of owning them. If you short-stroke the pump with force, you'll bust the loading nozzles. The key is that once it's broken, it's unfixable, short of sending it to me or notrabies to turn it into a gas-powered monstrosity. I personally don't understand why clone companies copied the M3 but not the SPAS-12, they'd make a killing on it.
X post or whatever: Can anyone recommend some good, low capacity 40mm grenades? I found a bunch but have no idea which ones are worth buying: http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=24913 http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=25051 http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=43112 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...roducts_id=955 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=6651 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1912 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...ducts_id=10118 [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline] wait..... need to hunt down all the links again... If I really wanted a nice GBB M4, what brand would I go for?
KJW
Alright, I'm looking into that now. So, I know KWA has their LM4 series thing but I've heard bad stuff about them. Is there a particular reason I should stay away from them? Sorry, I'm not the best when it comes to GBB.
What are you talking about? JG, CA, G&P, TM and KA I think all make A1s.
note where he asked for one under $200
does the dumb charger have an LED light that goes green when the battery is charged or something? most i have seen do that
nope. I'm going to order a smart charger but it'll take about a week until it gets here -- in the meantime, I need to make sure this AEG works
charge battery for like an hour and plug it in and press trigger [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline] its certainly not fully charged, maybe like 1/3 charged at most
yeah, I made a ghetto setup in front of my apartment's door with garbage bags full of clothes on top of an office chair and covered the door with towels, lol I just loaded a bunch of BBs and fired full auto on the bags until the firing rate started to slow down, which didn't take long. it's all good, now charging for 3 hours

The SPAS seamed to fit my needs. But taking into account what you said, there doesn't seam to be any reason to buy it (as much as it pains me to say this), since I got a 50% change for it to brake due to wear and tear AND it can't fixed. If I wanned to put it on a wall I'd probably buy it... On the other hand, since it is a tri-shot and there are a lot of clones and whatnot on the market, couldn't the internals be changed with something els? But something tells me if this IS possible, then it takes time and money. Meh... So, I guess I'll go for some king of an "accurate" tri-shot (if such a thing exists). Think I've read something about Echo 1 having one, but not really sure about it. Also, thank you for your imput catbarf. I ow you one.
echo1 shotguns? u mean the craft apple works?

The cheaper tri-shots, in fact, can't be disassembled without breaking them. Clone tri-shots run $40-60 and will do the job. If it breaks, you buy another one. There's really no such thing as an accurate tri-shot, their accuracy comes from having multiple barrels. Just a thought, but for less than the price of a TM tri-shot you could get a ACM M500. They have their share of issues, but putting five BBs downrange every time you pull the trigger definitely makes it easy to hit people. The main problem there is lack of hop-up.
The LM4 is great after replacing the hop up parts. The replacement parts are readily available.
This. It's got great gas consumption and pretty good cool down, and after you replace the hopup, it shoots rather well. It also shoots sub 400fps out of the box, which means you dont need to lower it to use it at some fields. HOWEVER the aforementioned hopup is godawful stock. It will work for a while, but the design is dumb and the arm is made out of brass, which WILL bend out of shape and fuck up the hopup. I would reccomend the RA-Tech steel hopup arm and Maple Leaf bucking, which are only about $25. [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
people dont like the 3 piece upper receivers
I havent had an issue with the 3 piece upper. It's a dumb design choice, but everything is still solid on mine and I've put plenty of rounds through it.
the main problem with the ACM M500 shotguns is that they take a while to reload the BBs and the cocking handles are terribly weak and usually break within a few hundred pumps at most
IFAP should get together and manufacture trishots. I want a trishot bullpup Mossberg 500 so badly ;_;
