I got offered my job back, so I'll have a source of income soon. So, it's time I start buying gear again. My Condor Crossover Leg Rig is being weighed down by everything I carry on it, so I'm looking to replace it with a chest rig. I like the idea of of a modernized belt and suspenders rig but I don't know where to start, help me out?
the CQB field I'm going to soon apparently has an FPS limit of 375 -- can anyone recommend me a decent spring replacement for my AEG (which currently fires around 400 FPS)? I was currently thinking of this spring
buy from clandestine airsoft - the spring itself is half the price, shipping is $2.50, and takes like 3 days
good catch, thanks babe
Can anybody recommend me a good EOTech knockoff sight that would look good on my P90's standard rail?

I'd recommend an M100. My MP5K with stock China clone gearbox(ergo shit compression) gets 325 of an M100

If you're used to a leg rig, you'll be so comfortable your body might not be able to take it. All you need is a decent h-harness (look for padding), a riggers belt, the battle belt, and some pouches and you're set.
or an m56 set up c:
or an m56 set up c:
He asked for modernized, yo.
what, you expect me to read every letter?
Also, my LiPo shit finally comes in today. What should I do with the wiring on my MP5k, just run it outside of the charging handle port?
If you want a comfy modern rig and want to spare the expense look for LBT repro products even tho the legit 6094s aren't half bad, but if you're looking for a rig look at the LBT 1960's series. They are really nice. If you don't want to spare the expense go full paraclete and give zero fux
What would be the most fitting load bearing system/combat webbing to wear over a field coat in M81 Woodland? ALICE? That whole late cold war era is just a blur to me as far as equipment goes.
Alice gear with a PASGT helmet and an A2, I would think. My gun has stopped firing, completely unresponsive on trigger pull. Tried multiple battery. When I pull the trigger, theres no sound of the motor trying to pull or anything. There isn't a fuse, as its G&P. Usual cause of this?

I'd take apart the gearbox and test the motor without the spring installed.
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=39452 This sling just arrived from backorder, doesnt fit on my VFC Scar. Are there any kind of adaptors for the side mounts? Really dont want to use a rail-mount.

i don't think there is one you can get.. you might just have to get a new sling and sell that one. i recommend the VTAC wide padded sling or the BFG vickers sling, pricey but quality and will have no problems mounting to your SCAR [editline]8th July 2013[/editline] oh yeah zipties are a good alternative, i use to use a ziptie for the front of my RIS and never had a problem
A friend mine just bought this rifle: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_WE_WE_Raptor_AEG_BK_Katana_System_M120_Red_Cylinder.htm But his FPS is to how. How can he lower the fps? Only with the cilinder system or is there another way?
a different spring of lower power would most likely fix the problem. i'm terrible with internals so i wouldn't know much, but i'm assuming that could fix it.
I'm assuming he'll have to buy the blue cylinder.
zipties / keyrings
Just used a keyring, its strong enough and fits on the mount I wanted to use. Thanks for the idea.
Also, my LiPo shit finally comes in today. What should I do with the wiring on my MP5k, just run it outside of the charging handle port?
Here's what I did, and I just attach the batteries to the stock:
not everyone has the PDW version
I just removed part of the charging handle slot, run my wire through there, E-taped a pistol mag pouch to the side to protect the battery. Looks kind of futuristic with the exposed wires, I dig it. Also, my ROF and trigger response are through the roof, thanks for all the help.
not everyone has the PDW version
You can still attach it to the receiver this way
I just removed part of the charging handle slot, run my wire through there, E-taped a pistol mag pouch to the side to protect the battery.
But if you run it out the back then you bypass the silver connectors and a lot of wiring, so less resistance and whatnot. Works either way though [editline]8th July 2013[/editline] Can you mix n match AR15 and HK416 upper/lower receivers?
Reposting in the proper thread.
Also, the area where you screw in the CCW barrel extension/flash hider is a bit loose. I can look down the barrel (lol safety) and the inner barrel doesn't move but the area around it with the threads wiggles a bit. Didn't do that when I first got it. Can fix?
This part:
Reposting in the proper thread. This part:
Barrel wiggle is normal there, because you're attaching a long heavy pipe to like 1/2 an inch of threading. You could stabilize it somehow, but I wouldn't be particularly worried about it.
