Its been a while, but if I recall: 1. Fold the stock to the side. 2. Unscrew allen screw located on the inside of the joint. 3. Pin holding the stock to the receiver should slide out from either the top or bottom, but it might take some force.
Exactly what I did when I installed my kv stock. The stock pin slides out out of the top, all I did was push it out with a screwdriver after taking out the little allen screw.
airsoft megastore sent me an RMA form for my AK. can't wait to hear them say "uhh you opened the gearbox so say goodbye to your warranty, NICE TRY"
GBBR question my hammer spring doesnt seem to be strong enough to hit the valve knocker hard enough to let out enough gas for more than a tiny pop. Im not sure if I put it in wrong or I need a new one. I got the gun used so maybe a new one is in order but sometimes the valve gets enough gas to gently cycle but then will completely cycle on the second shot if its followed closely enough. or put into full auto the first shot is barely enough to cycle and then the rest are just fine. Im not new to gas just new to gas rifles.
Best AK-47 and AK variants for around $200? Answers gogogo.
CYMA CM.040 and or CM.048!
CYMA CM.040 and or CM.048!
What about this guy? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_408_415&products_id=5639 Its on sale right now Also the G&G version
CYMA makes the best AKs for cheap.
Opinions on the CM046?
So now that I have a decent primary, what is the best price/quality GBB pistol I should get to run as a secondary? The TM Hicapa 4.3 looks really nice but I kinda want to keep it as close to $100 as possible.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_408_418&products_id=9441 opinions?
no on the cm046 no on the g36
no on the cm046 no on the g36
Why?
Why?
Electric Blowback is really lame and puts unneeded stress on your gun. Get a GBB if you want blowback. [del]Avoid Umarex[/del]. Make sure you check the OEM of a Umarex licensed/branded gun.
Avoid Umarex.
what
Umarex products range from shitty to great.
i hope you realize the vfc 416s and a few of their ars are umarex branded/licensed
what
Y'know dwt most people would actually add more to their post in a case like this. This is just a suggestion but maybe you can share your opinion on Umarex.
I have an Umarex/Ares EBB G36. The EBB is really shitty but you can disable it, not really worth buying a gun just to have. There are plenty of more cheaper and more reliable G36es out there.
umarex doesnt make any guns, they license them. research the guns individually for a better answer if you're looking at any from them.
Edited my post to be a bit more clear on that matter.
They love plastering their shitty health and safety paragraph on all of their products.
Hows the Umarex UMP?
don't we literally just told you to get a cm040/cm048/variant thereof
don't we literally just told you to get a cm040/cm048/variant thereof
Lol sorry. I'm just not sure if I want an AK variant, and exploring my other options

Some guns have quirks like the glock and the barrel ejection but as long as you don't get their M9 or single stack 1911, you'll be good to go. Kjw hicapas are fucking awesome too.
OK, so, totally new to airsoft here. Never played in my life. I'm in eastern PA if that matters. This might be asking a lot but I need some ideas for a basic gear setup that will get me through my first few games. Cheap but not totally unreliable gun suggestions are appreciated.

Might just be me but the wood is so sexy no matter what I always go with that. Maybe if you really want that modern AK look the 40 would be good. EDIT: I always go with the wood in my mind, i've never actually bought an AK.
