No it's not. When we were first going to make Facepunch patches, we needed an acronym for FP, and someone jokingly proposed IFAP, which we just stuck with.

it kind of was at one point though

All I know is how it started, I haven't been around to know the inside jokes very well.
this was from the same thread where we came up with the 'IFAP' idea if i recall correctly
pretty sure it stemmed from the ISAF patch
Oh, well shit idk then :v:

can we make this our new logo now
But srs these patches would be killer, good idea killer.
I really doubt anyone wants to deal with MC again though.
I wish Eridani Tech could make patches. IFAP gets patches and ET makes dosh c:

i didn't make this
Holy shit I didn't think that was an actual organization.

How about now?
I would probably make "facdpunch airsoft" bold to adjust and align with the other lettering
Also replace the R inside ® with FP for extra fun

Or replace the R with the FP logo.

That came out even better than I expected. Sweet.
A while ago I asked about how an under 18 would acquire a non two-toned airsoft gun in the UK. If I remember correctly someone said an over 18 with a UKARA license could legally buy a non two-toned gun for an under 18. I told my Dad this and he didn't believe me. Has anyone got any proof that buying non two-toned guns for under 18's is legal?

Well Violent Crime Reduction Act only covers realistic imitation firearms (RIF's), i.e. ones that look like real guns. A gun has to be at leasy 50% brightly coloured or transparent for it to be classed as not realistic (if I remember correctly).
The link below offers more information on two-tone and also states that they're legal. While it's not an official government site (so I don't know if your dad will believe it or not), I don't see why he would have reason to doubt the validity of the information;

Thanks for the info, but I'm asking whether or not it is legal or not for an over 18 to buy an under 18 non two-toned guns.
If the over 18 has an UKARA, then yes. If not, no, because you still need an UKARA to buy RIFs regardless of age.

Sorry, I misread your question.
As FloaterTWO said, this would be possible if it was someone who had UKARA, although I'd strongly advise against it.
If you get challenged by the police for being in possession of a RIF, you would possibly get prosecuted under the VCRA since you'd have no defense. UKARA exists so that legitimate skirmishers have a defense if they do get challenged.
Not to mention, some sites may be funny about letting an under 18 run around with a RIF.
Best combat boots that are less than 50 bucks but won't give me massive blisters?
I doubt the sites themselves really mind, as if the player is there and using the RIF to play airsoft, then that's fine. I've used my brother's guns when i was a lot younger at skirmishes before they cranked the minimum age to 16 without any problems.
As far as i know, the law is intended to keep RIFs out of the hands of people who don't play airsoft and would want to use them for nefarious purposes, for example, robbing a store with a gun that looks just like a real one.
Ah ok, thanks for the help Girafo and FloaterTWO. In fact I checked the official UKARA website (something that I should have done first in retrospect) and it is ok.

Also refer to the megathread I put up a rather large chunk of text about it months ago
[editline]1st August 2013[/editline]
Literally all UKARA sites rent out RIF guns to anyone who doesn't have their own regardless of age and since it is not your possession and is in fact your father who has UKARA then you personally cannot be prosecuted just for using it at a registered site. The chances of even that happening are a billion to one unless you're not airsofting on a proper site.

This is kind of a hairy question. You definitely DO NOT want to skimp out on boots. I like my Brahmas from Wal-Mart, but that's just me. Alternatively, I wear Converse Sealth's.
Walmart ankle height hiking boots are not a bad choice for very low budget outdoor footwear.
