The Official Questions Thread Version: "Charlies in the trees, what do I need to get rid of them?"

A friend of mine had some ATACS FG pants on saturday. They look a lot less vibrantly green than that irl, or at least his did.
They seem to work pretty well.
A-tacs FG looks like it would work really well with the vegetation we have in the area.
I know a lot of you don't necessarily like it, but it looks to me like it would blend better than M81 or Tiger Stripe(which I already own).
Besides, I have plans of buying Marpat and DCU farther down the line for different loadouts.
have you looked into aor2?
What do you guys think about Flecktarn?
have you looked into aor2?
This. Go AOR2/NWU Type III and don't look back.
yeah im not sure why I got funnys. aor2 is great if you need something similar to marpat but less brown and more green

AOR2 is bad for straight up woodland enviroments imho, it's more of a maritime pattern.
But with AOR2, you gain the ability to pretend you're better than everyone else.

anyone know if these are at all water proof?
they have double o-ring seals on the bottom and one up top, but you can never be sure.
description says they are water resistant, but not to what extent
I have been going around drumming up some answers on a new piece I am considering purchasing. Honestly, I have not gotten any answers yet, and I would like to know what others think before I even consider purchasing. This will be my second time making a purchase, so I wish to be as prepared as possible.
At any rate, the guns in question are as follows:

Why? Because I am interested in a bit of a showy kind of gun. And, at any rate I could even make the stretch and say that I have a WW1 airsoft gun. Regardless, I do still want it to function well; and thus they should hold up as far more than a "decorational piece".
same thing

Water resistant is generally tradespeak for "get it wet but don't submerge it"

I don't think you can buy BAR mags anywhere.
not looking hard enough...
(JUST KIDDING THAT WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST GOOGLE RESULT FOR "ECHO 1 BAR MAG")
A shame that the mags are all highcaps, still; I can look over it if the gun(s) are good. Have any of you purchased one of these, or know anything about them? From what I have gathered so far they seem solid enough, if not quite the heavy things; being almost four feet long.
you can modify a 20rd stanag midcap to fit in there given that the internals are basically a vn hicap
[editline]13th August 2013[/editline]
as someone who's used a bar and also the owner of an automatic rifle that's not the bar, a belt-fed lmg, and a pair of belt-fed gpmgs, compared to all the other support weapons the bar's pretty much on the low end of the weight scale
the charging handle/bolt carrier assembly as well as the carry handle and possibly the bipod are fragile though so don't abuse them
ERDL is great if you need something similar to M81 but less brown and more green
careful there buddy, only highland ERDL and Taiwanese ERDL is green, regular ERDL is just as brown as M81.
Bought a pair of Greek lizard camo pants in woodland today C:
When I get home, I'm buying G36 midcaps and some pouches to add more to my RRV.
What's the best model of GoPro for filming airsoft?
And what would be the best way to mount it without a helmet?
head strap
there is no best model, but if you dont care about stills or super slow mo the white edition is fine
Headstrap sucks if you have an older model, bounces around. It also depends on what face/eyepro you use but it could work.
The best bet is an adhesive or NVG mount on a helmet.

Codemoney has a cheap alternative to a GoPro or Contour, don't remember what it's called so he'll need to chime in. He recorded Blacksheep with it.

get a G&G instead and never look back
I've decided to make another airsoft purchase after being out of the game for quite some time, but the gun I want, the Dboys PDW(2009 version), seems to have disappeared from the earth. After much research I've determined that it's generally regarded as the best VFC clone (if thats wrong feel free to correct me). Otherwise, does anyone know anywhere that I can find one? Preferably new but I'll take almost anything at this point.
Apoc sell yours to him
