Unless your home has an endless flood of nickles rising from your basement, stick away from WA anything.
Any replacement parts will essentially require you to buy an entire new pistol, and 2-3 magazines will cost you as much as another pistol to begin with.
Also, you'd want to do hours of research to make sure you're getting the right kind of WA, because they decided it would be brilliant to make several systems and generations of guns with minimal designation as to which gun is which type. Considering some of these systems flat out suck, it will basically turn into a very expensive obsession.

I did not claim that it was a legitimate belt, nor did I claim that it was a fake belt I simply called it an M56 belt when I offered it to him. And before you say it was *scamming*!!!1!*, when I bought it several years ago I was essentially gear-illiterate. I actually bought it at the surplus store you and I went to, when I asked for an M56 belt that was the one they gave me. After a few months I bought another one as a spare and put the one I sold him into my drawer and it didn't see the light of day until we started doing Vietnam.
I had no idea that it was a chinese belt.
It functions fine, and the only thing actually wrong with it is that one of the grommets was missing, which I sent a picture of to david before he bought it.

Before we get too offtopic, based on Notrabies suggestion I think it wouldn't be worth buying the 1911. Especially since I could get another brand that functions better and would be the same price - I asked the guy further and he said that it has a problem shooting sometimes for whatever reason. The only reason I considered buying it and asking here about it was because it's a WA and I know jack shit about WA.

That's funny because I remember specifically bringing it up to you when I first started to assemble my M1956 webbing because I said "are the belts supposed to be this flimsy? All my stuff folds over and the belt doesn't stay adjusted." To which you said you weren't sure. I then said "Oh, on the end o fone of the strap things it says "Made in China". This isn't even a real belt." To which you said "Oh shit, I knew it was different than mine.", so I said "Well, let me try to figure out of I can use it, hold on." because I wouldn't be going to HVA soon and didn't want to pay to ship it back because I specifically remember not wanting to pay half of what the refund would be on shipping the belt back to you. I figured out it wouldn't work because it's an abysmal piece of shit and I don't recall you sending pictures to me, so unless you can find the pictures you sent me I'll stick to that conviction. I told you, and I specifically remember saying; "Yeah, it's not going to work.. is there any way you can like PayPal me my $10 back and I'll get the belt back to you the next time I go to HVA?" To which you agreed, but once you got paid because you had already spend the money on a game or something. I believe I am the resident authority on Western Arms pistols. For $90 I would definitely go for it regardless of which system it is. Keeping in mind that between all 3 SCW systems the frames and slides are interchangeable. And the Magna are interchangeable with the SCW 1s. As far as the actual gun goes, they are exceptionally well made and do perform admirably. The issue is with the magazines, they require more maintenance than a TM/clone mag does to keep running well. Since it comes with a metal slide he really doesn't need anything at all to have it run for all eternity, the internals are built like tanks
