At that price, a better bet would be a Combat Machine by G&G.
Many thanks for the quick reply and Agree from Kath. I'll just stick to the combat machine then.
I had one and loved it. I know some people who have had them for YEARS and they're still going just fine. They're a great gun, really.
Yeah owned one myself as well. It's literally a huge difference between sportline and budget. Blows other cheaper guns out of the water.
I had a combat machine at one point. Both my proline G&Gs are leaps and bounds higher quality though
So, my multi shot occasionally double feeds or misfeeds and BB's fall out of the barrel. Any ideas on how to fix this? I don't think the hop up is adjustable, so I've ruled that out as a possibility.
Do you ever pump it more than once?
No, and I make sure I pump it all the way. I'd heard something about lubing the shells, but where? Edit: Also, I wasn't having problems like this until I started using .20 instead of .25.
ics m4s are great yo the sportlines have the same internals as the full metal series ones, really a nice gearbox for a gun that cheap.
Supposedly the G&G blowback GR-16/15's are of better build quality than the NBB ones, I confirmed thisd with Kath's NBB one. I've had mine for over 3 and a half years now and I still use it now and then to this day. (More so recently because my other guns are down for now). My secret? I kept it bone stock save for a Guarder Clear bucking and an SCS spacer. [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] I can still diddle kiddies with it too
Why does everyone have Dboys SCAR-Ls and not have problems with those? Do Dboys SCAR-Ls use the same gearboxes as Dboys M4s?
mine's gearbox is shitty shit shit quality while i've worked on kids' scar-ls that have decent internals with bearings and such [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] keep in mind mine is from like 2007 while the kids' guns were likely newer production runs
Okay so I think that for now I am going to just buy an A&K SPR MOD0 (this), a box of midcaps, and a nice tac vest. That and a variable scope I have laying around will last me through summer (I'm possibly selling my AK to a friend) and I'll buy the A&K PKM with my birthday money. (~200, odd jobs for the rest) I <3 the SPR, and the PKM even more. But I need to wait until I get some more money in my savings for ammo and shit
how does one go about removing the orange paint retailers often paint on the ends of TM pistol slides?
Uhh, last I checked, the A&K SPR is pretty terribad. The only good thing made by A&K is the MG's, which are great.
how does one go about removing the orange paint retailers often paint on the ends of TM pistol slides?
have you tried using paint thinner to wash it off in the case it's oil based paint? or windex to wipe it off in the case it's acrylic?
Uhh, last I checked, the A&K SPR is pretty terribad. The only good thing made by A&K is the MG's, which are great.
Well crap. Got any recommendations for SPR/DMR platforms under $230? Preferably full metal?
Well crap. Got any recommendations for SPR/DMR platforms under $230? However, there really aren't many options for SPR's, and certainly not cheap ones.

Yeah totally, if you like AR's and you're on a budget, G&G's are the way to go.
Yeah totally, if you like AR's and you're on a budget, G&G's are the way to go.
Sweet. Evike has G&G Full Metal Raider Long's for like $215.
can you do that thing with a 4.3 where after the slide locks back you can pull it back a tiny bit and it releases? [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] instead of hitting slide release
the majority of pistols do that as long as there's no magazine or the magazine follower isn't in the way, ie. a loaded magazine [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] now that i think of it, all of them should
The 5.1 Hi Capa doesn't. :C Edit: My 5.1 High Capa doesn't, you have to hit the slide release, you can't pull the slide back again to release it.
Sweet. Evike has G&G Full Metal Raider Long's for like $215.
Why metal, like, the G&G poly is actually really solid, and way cheaper.
Why metal, like, the G&G poly is actually really solid, and way cheaper.
This. I'd take the G&G poly first. Also please don't get a raider, the rail is so generic and ugly. If you're gonna get a metal M4, G&P 4 lyf
can you do that thing with a 4.3 where after the slide locks back you can pull it back a tiny bit and it releases? [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] instead of hitting slide release
you can powerstroke a 4.3, yeah.
You should be able to do that with any loaded pistol. The whole idea is that the slide catch is up to grab the slide when the mag is empty, and down when the mag is loaded. Some pistols I've had were touchy enough that slapping in a fresh mag would release the slide, and damn is that every satisfying.
this is basically how every gun with a follower-actuated bolt catch/slide lock works the follower has a thing on it that engages the lock when it's at the top of the mag (i.e. the mag is empty) when you reload the follower is obviously at the bottom of the mag and the lock isn't being engaged, therefore you can rack the bolt/slide to let the lock fall and the gun return to battery
i just remember some thing on an ASGI livestream where they were discussing some GBB that couldnt powerstroke
doesn't work with KWA's PTP 1911. 4leaf has one, power stroking it leaves the slide locked, even with an empty magwell
WELL THAT'S KWA FOR YA
