oh lol i thought those were sling points pretty sure they're just guide holes to prevent the bars flexing while in folded position, though the actual part where the bars slide and lock look plenty sturdy and long enough to hold them securely
yeah that's what i figured too, although i wonder what prevents the stock from sliding all the way through when full extended
[t]http://i.imgur.com/vb2YCw6.jpg[/t] my craplastic deeboyze lower in front, piratemike's four sexteen lower in the back [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] i don't know if all non-416/17/A1s have the long tube though i'm not ~~~AR-MASTER~~~
i don't see much of a difference lol, would it catch on something? [editline]4th September 2013[/editline]
i don't know if all non-416/17/A1s have the long tube though i'm not ~~~AR-MASTER~~~
oh i think that's just a DBOYS thing, no?

diameters look the same so it might just be you need to cut the existing buffer tube tube to length the 416 lower threads appear just to be there for guiding the screw into the gb more securely than a normal lower's unthreaded hole [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] correction, the dboys tube is a bit taller than the 416 stub although that's probably just because the 416 stub has flats on the top and bottom [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] from my 1 minute of research marui makes their traditional ARs with the long tube but some aftermarkets like G&P have short tubes
so wait there's a screw inside the tube that holds the buffer tube in right and the castle nut gets adjusted by the threading on the outside of the tube, which tightens the end plate against the lower
this looks exactly like every other lower what is going on [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] okay based on the vfc diagram the stock screw doesn't look long enough to go all the way into the spring guide so you might need the lower threading or a nut/something to keep the screw in place
found this cheap-ass stuff. It's obviously a knockoff, but it looks ok. Worth buying? In order of best quality to worst: klmk (thin fabric, but will last as long as you don't dive into explosions and thornbushes) kzs (rough burlap-esqe fabric) kzm (kzm is so bad I don't even)
Wait the site is in russian how the hell do I do this do they accept paypal?
you buy and put paypal in the payment field and then they email you an invoice and you pay afaik they english rather well; rabies bought a tonne of shit from them earlier
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4006 I'm buying one of these, so what should I get uniform-wise if I want to not look like a stooge who has an AK with american gear?
Flektarn?
The G&P M16A1 is great, I love mine. Shoots gooooooodd
My new G&P A1 shot around 420, I was like horry sheet
Flektarn?
Would work, since VDV uses it but you'd have to outweigh the German-ness with Ruskii by getting super Ruski gear
you buy and put paypal in the payment field and then they email you an invoice and you pay afaik they english rather well; rabies bought a tonne of shit from them earlier
Honestly I wouldn't recommend ordering from Russia unless you're already thoroughly into airsoft, the 1 month wait and browsing in a foreign language wasn't too much fun, although Profarmy does indeed do emails in English if you contact them. (probably just a translator but it worked fine for me). Also, airmail from Russia is pretty expensive despite taking forever. I would probably get something more standard like Flora BDU's and a chicom if you wanted cheapo Russian stuff, and that will give you an inexpensive base to build up on into a real loadout. The oversuits seem a little less common for the time period the 74M's are used in. When you start airsoft you're gonna want to put your money into guns, magazines, batteries, and bb's, in that order. Starter gear can be extremely basic since you don't have to worry about carrying much, as you don't own a lot to begin with.

Ye, recon troops is prolly his best bet since they ditch a lot of armor and shit for ~hispeed recon ops~
hey, my friend lost the locking bar rod thingy on his eotech. is there any similar shaped item that can replace it?
russian or french [sp]girls[/sp]
How necessary is the endplate for the stock, apoctank VFC's stock bundle comes with 28 & 29
Take a picture of the back of your lower and post it here
well i've got my VFC SOPMOD M4 sitting in storage somewhere, but i'm building up an AR from scratch for this issue is I'm going G&P for the receiver group but G&P does make both long and short versions of their receivers like: http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=1948 http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=2591

This thing is seriously like 1/2 inch lol. Shouldn't be hard to find another one and modify it to work. I'm sure you'll think of something
couldn't i just chop it down? i mean judging by this pic it should work, no?
Are there any really really in depth guides to buy first time Airsoft guns? I'm just thinking of new hobbies to partake in, and airsoft sounds interesting. I'm not planning to go full fucking taticool and buy a authentic Russian bomb squad uniform and 14 different AK47s to match. I was thinking of buying a sturdy simple pistol to shoot cans with but apparently buying pistols for starters are a bad idea, according to the OP. [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] Also budget needs to be less than $100
Refer to the sticky. Only gun really under $100 would be a trishot shot gun. For just over $100, your options expand.

Blowback pistols are amazing for backyard plinking, but they're a pain to maintain. Well, it's exaggerated, but you'll probably not want one as your first gun.
