The Official Questions Thread Version: "Charlies in the trees, what do I need to get rid of them?"

IMO gas pistols aren't hard to maintain. I just pop them open after each skirmish, get some gun oil and q-tips and clean out every place where metal rubs against metal, lube it up a little and pop it back together.
hes in canada just remember WE 1911 gbbs are $215
plastic AK with metal top cover

I got quite a large paycheck this week so I can finally start my Falklands loadout. The Brits still used the L1A1 in the 80's right? And does anyone know what camouflage they used and what type of rigging they wore?
Refer to the sticky. Only gun really under $100 would be a trishot shot gun. For just over $100, your options expand.
These guns recommended in the sticky seem to be for competitive use. They mention how small magazine sizes are a flaw, which isn't a concern for target practice.
I don't care about realism or moderate matenience. I am willing to clean the gun after every session.
We were still using DPM back then.
If you're gonna be shooting in your back yard only, at like cans and stuff, a blowback pistol or a co2 revolver would be the most fun.
I will probably get a revolver, I looked at some of the reviews and the revolver looked the most interesting.

Any guides on how to make a gun a bullpup like connecting the trigger system?
Any guides on how to make a gun a bullpup like connecting the trigger system?
its as simple as connecting a thin steel rod to the original trigger, running it to the new grip, and bending it in to the shape of the trigger. Then put a guide for the rod of some kind so the trigger pull is consistent.
could you just run some wires to the trigger contacts and move the physical trigger to where you want it?\
i don't know much about the trigger assembly so it probably won't work
No, because the trigger and trigger contacts are of manual operation. If you could transplant your trigger contacts and trigger you'd be good3go
The easiest solution would be to strip out the trigger and contacts entirely, and instead wire a push button into the gearbox circuit. Put this button wherever you want and install a trigger in front of it. This is basically how A&K M249s and M60s work.

L1a1 they used. Wood stock too which makes it reaaaal purty.
Tropical DPM pattern from the 1970's
Headware was maroon berets or an MkIII "turtle" helmet
Belt rig was a standard PLCE in OD
I don't know jack shit about their rucks though.

RA Tech 6.01mm barrel & bucking for WE G19 Y/N
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
Whats bad about them, Rabies? Just wanna get informed. Seemed like a reasonable cheap upgrade.
tk twist/nineball or nuthin'
-rabies
I have exactly $25 and am trying to decide between a thumbrest or the barrel.
I would never put a 6.01 barrel in anything, they're bad news. Putting one in a pistol you want to rely on when you need it most is suicide.
6.01 provides an fps increase without any significant range/accuracy increase (apart from possibly the effective range because higher fps means people may feel your shots from farhter)
6.05-6.03 better than 6.02-6.01 in any situation
Rabies, recommended glock sights for low light CQB? The WE G19 takes TM G17 type sights.
The safety of my PT 92 AF won't work. It goes like halfway in, feels like it hits something soft-ish and then it says no. I've been dissasembling all the screws etc and I still haven't reached the trigger area where I'd see the actual safety mechanism.
Also, what's this thing behind the magazine? It seems to be just some kind of metal rod or something.

I've got an M4 that needs a new metal body, a new set of wiring, a battery mounting solution, a gearbox diagnosis, and other general maintenance. Would I be better off buying a new gun or have it professionally fixed (potentially at a price higher than a new gun) at a place like AEX or ASGI?
And if I do end up getting something else, what do I do with a broken M4?
What do I do with a broken M4?
Put it on display.
It's a CA, but there's been some moderate internal work. If I had the time and tools, I would definitely try my hand at doing the fix myself, but my current situation doesn't really allow me to.
Something I didn't mention at first was that this gun hasn't been shot in 3-4 years and counting, so I don't know if the quality deteriorates from that.
Since I don't have a credit card, I'm willing to drive, all these stores aren't really far from here
I'm looking to buy an airsoft revolver, but I need to get the best bang for my buck.
I've listed a bunch of revolvers here that I can buy, they're listed by closest to my location.

If these are shit, I'll look again tomorrow for handguns.
You listed one of those twice. Id get the Dan Wesson. Those are pretty good iirc
For plinking around fun times, the Dan Wessons are just about the most fun you can have at any price.
