Just asking but wouldn't a regular AK hop unit be able to fit into it if it's just a normal V3?
it is a normal ak chamber and gearbox, but the thing with the bizon (and the vityaz) is that the receiver is shorter to accommodate the length differences between 9mm and 5.45/7.62 (also why you're supposed to use .25+ with the bizon because the closer trunnion pushes the hop arm back a bit) modifying an ak to take toobclipzz might work but you'd definitely need a mag in front of you to test

The Bizon magazine seemed like the only magazine that would be fairly low-profile and could be dressed up as something else. (On that note, if I go through with this, zing for Volt Driver, informative for Bastard)
but the bizon t00bclipp is fat and round while the 15mm bb magazine is thin and the bastard clip is rectangular [editline]9th September 2013[/editline] also the whole neither of them looking anything like an ak part
but the bizon t00bclipp is fat and round while the 15mm bb magazine is thin and the bastard clip is rectangular
The idea is to conceal the magazine and use a faux magazine in either case. I don't see any better options. I looked into the hop-up of the AGM Sten, but it's impossible to buy separately so that's a no-go. I also looked into the possibility of using a tri-shot shell, but there isn't enough room in the magazine well to accommodate one.
also the whole neither of them looking anything like an ak part
Either way I would be removing the dust cover and everything in front of the magazine well and building from scratch. The AK base is only for the gearbox, hop-up, and magazine well- essentially a rectangular block with a handle.
i can see a tihar with the bizon mags covered in blue tape being the pump cylinder but not much else
Not a bad idea really. Although now I'm tempted to try and turn an AK hop sideways.
I have the choice between a JG G36 or the Umarex variant. The JG comes with two mags but the Umarex I have heard some good things about. Anyone know which is better?
JG, no question. The Umarex is Ares/S&T and therefore is terrible.
I'd sell you a G36 ;))))
JG, no question. The Umarex is Ares/S&T and therefore is terrible.
Do you happen to know if it has a 14mm thread on the end of the barrel for mock suppressors and such?
Was having problems getting my Galaxy MP5k to feed midcaps, added tape to the inside and it works now, but occasionally I get a double feed or a failure to feed. Anything I should try to correct this?
Do you happen to know if it has a 14mm thread on the end of the barrel for mock suppressors and such?
It does
whats the best way to get a mag to start feeding? I just got a few for my MP5 and the evike page said that you shoud load and unload them. I cant get them to feed, so i can't unload them.
unload them by pulling the little nub back so they all shoot out of the magazine It's gonna make a big mess tho. Use a bit of silicone oil too.
Does anyone know where I can find cheap FAL that looks like an L1A1 or L1A1 that isnt 465 dollars? Also should I go blowback or electric? My G36 is electric so I want to try something new.
blowback is dumb and eats your piston and is generally inefficient unless it's tm recoil shock or mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee erg [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] g&g blowback doesn't eat your piston but automatically kills your compression due to the giant hole on top of your cylinder [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] none of these alternative systems actually apply to fals so don't go blowback [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] if you mean blowback in the gbb sense then im sorry for wasting your time
unload them by pulling the little nub back so they all shoot out of the magazine It's gonna make a big mess tho. Use a bit of silicone oil too.
problem is that they jam, so I have to use something to unjam them. I've got three of them loaded and just sitting there with the ammo in them so that the spring gets acclimated to the tension. I just don't know how to make it so that they don't jam every damn time I load them
blowback is dumb and eats your piston and is generally inefficient unless it's tm recoil shock or mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee erg [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] g&g blowback doesn't eat your piston but automatically kills your compression due to the giant hole on top of your cylinder [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] none of these alternative systems actually apply to fals so don't go blowback [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] if you mean blowback in the gbb sense then im sorry for wasting your time
I don't know how much experience you had with Recoil Shocks, but I got my hands on one the other day (both of my autismal airsoft friends decided to become TM fanboys, one got a Aug high cycle, the other a 416 Recoil Shock) and was severely, severely disappointed for the ~$550 pricetag ($500 on Echigoya, $600 on Ehobby) before Asia shipping. He opened the box at my house and I was the first one to handle it. It was... solid, but not as much so as I expected for such a pricey gun where all I've heard about it is an overwhelming amount of TM Fanboy praise on the shithole that is /r/airsoft. There was a tad bit of play between the two receivers and the pistol grip was pretty loose out of the box, the recoil was underwhelming for a gun called the RECOIL SHOCK!!! It wasn't terribly accurate, and seemed to skirt around the notion of magical TM hops. It uses proprietary mags. Without even so much as splitting the receivers (meaning we didn't touch the inside bits other than tightening the pistole gripe) the piston stripped. gg no re TM NOW ON TO THE AUG HIGH CYCLE I don't want to go into this as much as I did the 416. It felt nice, it shot really slow, but a lot better than the 416. It is less pricey, after seeing the same friend own both a JG and CA AUG, the TM is by far the best, but the "high cycle" name is a joke. 18 RPS on a 1600 9.6, fresh off the charger, but I'm sure the RPS with a respectable strength spring is laughable. The TM is by far the best of the 3 AUGs on the market, however. I feel like TM's position in the AEG market is dwindling and soon, with further improvements in barrel technology and hop up technology, TM's only foothold as I see it; the ~magic~ hop up, is going to be taken from them and all they'll have is GBBs. [editline]11th September 2013[/editline] AKA Herf seems to think the KWA ERG is the bees knees so I'd go with that
Well does anyone know a decent long-barreled FAL that isn't too expensive? Preferably with wood instead of metal?
guys I need a quick answer on this one I have a VFC m4 mag and I took out the screw at the bottom but the internal mech won't come out.
the plastic tabs on the sides of the mag near the top push them in
-SNIP- Wrong thread.
Well does anyone know a decent long-barreled FAL that isn't too expensive? Preferably with wood instead of metal?
I know the CA SA58 is actually really decent, but you'd need a long barrel and a wood kit. I don't know about the JG but I'm assuming its just okay~. The Lancer, JG, and Echo 1 are all made in the same factory by the same people with the same parts on the same machines. I heard good thing about the King Arms but that's $$$, although EHobby has it on sale right now, albeit the short barrel one. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/king-arms-fal-tactical-carbine-airsoft-aeg.html pick your poison and slot some floppys fuckr
AKA Herf seems to think the KWA ERG is the bees knees so I'd go with that
I shot one of the prototypes at Airsoft Nation, it seemed pretty cool to me, kicked nice and hard
with what? they are recessed so I can't push them in with hands and the screwdriver requires like 4 hands sorry if I'm being obnoxious as usual
very carefully i think the last time i did it i held a screwdriver between my legs while in a chair, the mag with one hand, and the second screwdriver with the other hand awkward as fuck but it worked
I just tried that, stabbed myself with a screwdriver and threw the mag at a closet door
What mags are you using?
I'm using Mag Midcaps, and I haven't had a problem with them until today. The tape seemed to do the job though, I'll do a follow through report after I field it Thursday.
