What's FP's opinion on G&G? I'm thinking of getting this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=7284

Internals and externals are both pretty solid and its a great value for the price.
20 Wt silicone oil is good, hobby sites sell them. You can also find different brands on airsoft websites.
Here's a question for all my mechanically and industrially inclined friends: During WWII, experimental canteens were produced made of a dull-amber clear plastic, dubbed the "ethocel" canteen. The shape and structure are nearly identical to the typical side-seam aluminum/stainless steel canteen usually encountered, and normally dated 1945. How difficult/expensive/impossible a task would it be to mold new ones on a small scale?
I would imagine pretty cheaply if you knew someone who had access to an injection mold
Anyone know what is this part called? (cropped from a modded ak)

Uhh you mean handguards?
Rail covers.
Is it considered heretic to put American scope on an AK? Russian scopes are kinda rare/expensive around here.
not if you do it right
I put a C-more on my AK and it looks great.
I'm seriously considering changing the grip on my AK to a modern one Is it hard to change it DIY? I've heard the screws are different from regular one

Ok, so there's this zombie op coming up in October at a local field I didn't even know about. My current gun is too powerful for the field's safety restrictions, and I was lacking in any other airsoft stuff, so I wanted to buy a new gun and some new gear. My parents agreed to front me the money to get this gun and the gear from this bundle. The website decided to reject my mom's debit card entirely, and then locked my account when I tried my dad's card. So I was wondering if anyone knows of similar/cheaper/better gear that I could get for around the same total price or lower, preferably from a website other than Airsplat. Thanks in advance.

What else do you need?

As it stands, I know it'll probably be damp around here in October for the op, so I'm getting some boots tomorrow.

Then you can choose what pouches you want. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_171&products_id=1637
Waitwhat screws? what kind of ak model/handguard you got there son?
I mean the pistol grip [editline]13th September 2013[/editline] I bought some rail guards today and they aren't locking onto the side rails of my AK very well, any solution? Duct tape? Hot glue? :v:
Hot glue? :v:
Sure if you don't feel like using your rails at all. Try putting some electrical tape inside the rail covers, so they push against the rails more and lock themselves in place with friction.
Is the CM048 one of the good Cyma AK models? If I can't afford my G&P this check, I want to join the AK club.
