He would be so much worse.timothy olyphant was very good in fitting the role. 47 is very pale and is tall, has a very sharp silhouette. Jason is short ,tan and has an accent. and he has never changed his hair and facial hair in a decade.
Stupidest piece of shit I've ever seen. Hitman was the worst video game movie I've ever seen. It was just so fucking stupid. I regret watching it. It makes an entirely new story unrelated to the game and he's not even really a fucking clone. They just bred him to be a killer as a kid and he almost has sex with a weird foreign love interest. It's just terrible.

It wasn't a videogame movie, because it had JACK SHIT to do with the game. The actor wasn't even fucking british, and he blew shit up and wasn't stealthy at all.
Lame action movie at the most.

Watched small parts of it, and as a fan of the games I can't stand the movie at all.
I kind of liked the first half, or just less, because it wasn't so ridiculous and resembled the latest games... then it just went batshit insane, almost to the level of fighting the ninjas in the castle in Hitman 2.
Well, it is pretty good. As you can see from my name, I'm a big fan of the Hitman games, I've played them all (Codename 47 was one of my first games), and I started my forum life on HitmanForum.
The Hitman games were kind of silly. Sure, it was a dark and horrible story about crime, inhumanity and cold-blooded killing, but they never did it completely serious (Contracts aside). There were easter eggs and references everywhere (especially for us danes, IOI are danish), miniguns in the first game, the whole saving mr. Smith over and over again, the sillly 'accidents' in Blood Money (dropping a piano on a target, for example). All those small things, probably meant to remind you that it was all good fun and not to be taken for more than it was.
The movie changes the history (one of the best things about the games, imo), a lot of the "Silent Assassin" atmosphere went into the gutter quite fast, but just like the games, it was fun. Sure, it was neither deep or stuff like that, but it had an awesome bald killer in a suit, gunfights, swordfights, explosions, russians and tits.
And that's not bad at all.
It's a really bland action movie with a generic love story and lots of dull action scenes.
Also, there was no stealth scenes in the entire movie, which is just competely dumb and it was also simply a big fuck you to the hitman fanbase.
Another boring video game adaptation added to the list of shitty movies.
Amazing action, groundbreaking story, fantastic acting!

They made 47 have too much emotion and feelings in the movie, he also wasn't as badass as the 47 from the games.

I vomitted hard when i saw the advertise of this unillusive bullshit. Authors of the movie have broken all dark noir idea of the game, and now lowbrow will imagine Hitman as faggot, that fools around in the movie.
