posting your videos is fine as long as you don't join just to post them
we get a lot of people who join, post their video and then leave, so the moderators ban those people whenever they can
Why not do what some forums do which your posts have to be approved by a moderator a few times before you can post on your own?

On a forum this large? That isn't going to work, the mods won't get any sleep.

Why are people getting so hot headed over a TEMP Ban, These people need to find something real to moan about

It pushes new users away if they've never experienced the forum.
Granted, some people deserve it for being assclowns, but we wouldn't have to deal with the unnecessary hassle of people unknowingly shitposting if there was a more clear and direct guidelines that new users were absolutely forced to read in some manner.
As of now, as seen by this thread, a lot is based on "common sense", which isn't exactly common information for people to understand when they join a community such as this. And with modern internet's impatience, telling them to shut up and lurk more isn't a possibility.
Most forums only ban as a last resort and hand out "warnings", so they're not used to being accountable for their stupid posts
Except not as strict. And no insta-ban words.
And only in the Rust subforum. That would probably solve the leak we keep getting.
