And another thing i loved: Yondu's needle thing. That was badass. It certainly wasn't something you'd see anywhere else. Its nice to see a character with a truly exotic weapon- a wholly unique device- not just a sword or gun with a gimmick.
It was kind of weird in the scene where [sp] Yondu kills a bunch of dudes with the needle. They have like 5 seconds to react but they just kinda stand there while he kills all of them. [/sp]

Also, not like it would have saved them anyways, they probably had no idea what was going on.[/sp]
why do i have to wait a week for it to come out fffff
Going to watch it again with my friends in a few minutes, can't wait to see it again!
Saw it for the 3rd time, still awesome.
Just saw this yesterday, amazing film. Loved every bit of it. [sp]Did anyone catch any other easter eggs in the collector scenes? I saw a bunch but wondering if anyone caught any others.[/sp]
I remember these: [sp]Chitauri, Dark Elf, Cosmo the Space Dog, Adam Warlock's Cocoon, and The Aether[/sp]
I gotta say the ship designs in this were pretty rad to. The ravager ships are just fucking awesome, Yondu's ship is great, and the Aster was a fantastic foreboding looking evil vessel. And another thing i loved: Yondu's needle thing. That was badass. It certainly wasn't something you'd see anywhere else.
I remember these: [sp]Chitauri, Dark Elf, Cosmo the Space Dog, Adam Warlock's Cocoon, and The Aether[/sp]
For someone who only watches the films, what are all these things?
For someone who only watches the films, what are all these things?
[sp] Chitauri are the bad aliens from The Avengers The Dark Elves are the bad aliens from Thor 2 The Aether Is the scary red shit from Thor 2 Cosmo the Space Dog and Adam Warlock are comic stuff. Cosmo is a russian dog in space that talks and Adam Warlock is space jesus.[/sp]
i cannot stop thinking about this film. definitely the best marvel film for me
This film kicks ass
Also watched this movie a couple days ago and it was excellent.
why do i have to wait a week for it to come out fffff
I HAVE TO WAIT THREE MORE WEEKS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA [sp]please kill me[/sp] Edit: I honestly don't get why they are doing this to us. No major movie is coming out much later than a few days after the rest of the world, but the one movie I'm the most hyped about is delayed by a whole FUCKING MONTH!
oh i thought that was laika
Naw, Cosmo. He's pretty much the Guardians Nick Fury in the comics [t]http://37.media.tumblr.com/22c3fc582dddbd158870e479b7e50320/tumblr_n9kgqnET731ru09bvo8_r1_1280.jpg[/t] I like the little nod they had to the comic series with Rocket and him growling at one another since the two characters rarely ever got along. Okay I've got round to watching this It was a nice fun adventure film, albeit predictable (not that that's a bad thing since it means the plot isn't convoluted nonsense)
Saw it for the second time, better than the first. I hope it trounces Ninja Turtles this weekend, and if the theater I was in is any indication, it might. Problems I had the first time were lessened, but[sp]I really need Thanos to murder something the next time he shows up, or else I'm not going to be able to take him seriously as the villain of this whole shebang. Everyone talks about how awesome and powerful and dangerous he is, but then he takes a whole lotta shit off of his underlings without doing anything about it.[/sp]
some high resolution pics [t]http://a.pomf.se/ghncvz.jpg[/t] http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-guardians-galaxy-hires-stills-spoilers-72247/
Still no decent pictures of [sp]Howard the Duck?[/sp]
I just realized.. [sp]Peter and Gamora never kiss.[/sp] That was nice, something different from the usual.
I found something that I think brought the whole film down. Something that was an incredibly important part in the comics and wasn't included. I don't see how Gunn could make a Guardians movie and not include [t]http://i.imgur.com/eVvn6BH.png[/t] THE FUCKING SPACE COFFEE
Saw it again. Still just as good, despite the newfound lack of space coffee, aka "spcoffee."

He's about the long haul, if he goes around doing shit himself then it'll only make him somewhat of a target if he puts himself on the playing field. As of right now he is making sure the gems/stones are exactly where he wants them to be. I'm sure he'd have no trouble getting it from the nova corps, and with Loki on the throne of Asgard he'll have no trouble getting the tesseract (I'm pretty sure that is where it is) and he knows the collector, so that's the aether too. He'll more than likely put more minions into play to reveal the locations of the other stones and make sure they are accessible before making his move himself[/sp] Comic spoilers - [sp]Plus it's just hard not to love the guy he doesn't give up. He's takin a go at Odin, and lost. He's had a go at galactus and lost. Hell, he's taken on the cosmic entities (basically space gods) and does it all with technology rather than raw power.[/sp]
watched it yesterday, was surprisingly lacking in feels, not to the detriment of the story the 3d was great

[sp]Dunno, it's hard to say but I think in the movie universe it's definitely possible because he portrayed as far more an ordinary asgardian rather than a god[/sp]
[sp]Did Loki kill Odin in the movie though?[/sp]
Most likely.
