Gunn talks about who Starlords dad will be

"It’s definitely not the character who it is in the comics," says Gunn, knocking Spartoi emperor J'son out of the running. "I’ll say that much... There have been a lot of documents passed around about who Peter Quill’s father is between a select two or three of us. That’s been part of the plan since the beginning, that’s something I had to work out before we shot the screenplay. We wanted to make sure Yondu’s place in everything made sense and it does, so it’s all very specific stuff."

Cockney accents are the worst, especially in fiction. No one should talk with one unless the character actually comes from London, a space raccoon definitely shouldn't have one.
Well whatever accent Rocket had in MvC3 is what I would have preferred.
[sp]So the Groot that is being grown again will it remember every thing that happened or is it an offspring[/sp]
he is groot.
I thought bradley cooper did a fantastic job with rocket
I actually kinda like it more than the MvC interpretation.
[sp]Who else was caught off guard by Howard the Duck?[/sp]
that feel when [sp]you find out why he calls himself Star Lord.[/sp]
great movie, better then the avengers imo but I seem to be in a minority of people who think that
It's quite good and one of the best, but I wouldn't say it's better than the Avengers.
Maybe on par with it.
I like it a helluva lot more than the Avengers personally.
I saw the Avengers and forgot half of it by the end of the night. I watched GOTG a week ago and still have every moment stuck in my head.
Avengers is by no means bad, but this one totally topped it IMO.
Yeah, the comparison for me was always between Guardians and Winter Soldier. I think I like Winter Soldier better, but probably only because it more deliberately plays towards my tastes. Guardians is still fantastic.
For me this is so far the best Marvel movie. I saw it about an hour ago and it was just so, so good. I remember how I was happy the Avengers weren't super serious and actually fun but this is whole new level.
I expected this movie to be garbage from the commercials, somehow I went and saw it and hah now it's probably one of my favorite movies.

If you want to read the comics buy this or the currently going Rocket Raccoon series.
Almost everything after 2012 is total shit.
Exactly the same thing that happened with my family. Sadly I think that's the movies biggest obstacle right now.
Obstacle? This movie had the third highest grossing debut weekend for a movie this year. This movie has no obstacles, it's fucking huge.

I didn't mean to imply it's not doing well, I just know many people were turned off by the idea of it.
For me , honestly so far its been the best movie i have seen this year, avengers was good and all but it dident really stuck with me, now This movie maaaan.. ( not to mention i got the soundtrack and listening to it makes me remember all the really good moments ) ,

Did they make more than one trade of the 'good' series, I'm probably going to pick up Vol 1 or the 2008 series tomorrow.
Guardians is a great movie, but it made me realize why Marvel did several movies with most of the characters before the actual Avengers movie.

I think it did an amazing job of introducing 5 characters, showing their backstories and making them click.
I love how they all meet each other, it's quick and to the point and shows off their personalities very well.
Awesome Mix Vol. 1 was such a good purchase, enjoying every second of it. Talked to the two of the receptionist getting it, one of them mentions how it's topping the billboards in the US, and we proceed to convince the other to watch the movie. Good stuff.

I'm not sure what you're asking
What I linked is a trade of the good series. The original printing of the good series was in 4 separate trades, but they are very expensive. Vol1 is like 90 bucks, 2 and 3 are 40 bucks each, and 4 is like 10 or something.

End scene spoilers:

[sp]Director James Gunn also offered some insight about the (baby groot dancing) scene, saying:
"It was initially written as a tag for the very end of the film," Gunn said. "But after we shot it, it worked so well I wanted to put it at the actual end of the film so none of the audience would miss it."
Gunn went on to reveal that the dancing Groot wasn't actually star Vin Diesel, but the director himself!
"Baby Groot dancing is 100 percent me. I was too embarrassed for anyone to be there, so I made everyone leave the room and I set up a camera and I videotaped myself dancing. Then I sent the video to the animators and had them animate over that. I begged them not to leak the video! Two of my closest friends came to an early screening and said 'Hey, I recognize those moves! That's you dancing isn't it?!'"[/sp]
And here's the scene itself, now officially released:

They should have made it Seducers of the Stars to keep with the end alliteration.

Well, since Postal didn't use the video tag, i say don't.
Well this is odd, Gamora and Starlord will be meeting and greeting during the Upcoming Unleash the Villains event at the Disney Parks.

I prefer the full helmet starlord as well. I found it weird that the top of his head was exposed.
Wow, the second one looks really cool.
