I don't get people who were like "Thanos was a pussy in this". He's like the Emperor in Star Wars. He doesn't get mad. He has servants who do that FOR him. If you cross a mafia don, the don himself doesn't hunt you down and kill you. You're just not worth his time.

I keep misreading Thanos as Thanatos, Greek God of Death/Hand of Death. I bet that was intentional, Marvel.

I've been hearing some reactions to this film and some people are saying that this has the potential to be a franchise as well-loved as the original Star Wars trilogy. I kinda see where they're coming from. It has a lot of that charm and sense of wonder.

The price of older GotG comics are rising. I will never own issues one of the 2008 series now. I could have gotten it for 40 bucks a while back but I turned it down. God fucking dammit.

I managed to grab 2-25 first prints without any issue (Had to settle for a second print of issue 1, but I am in it to read it, not collect.) Funny enough, grabbing the individual comics themselves was cheaper than buying the graphic novels of the series. [editline]20th August 2014[/editline] Also if you really want to grab a number one, now is the best time to grab it. I have a feeling once GotG 2 comes out, a first print will go for $300+.

Ordered the DnA collected edition. Hyped.
