The training to be a Disney character in the park is intense.
You have to do about a year just shadowing. Then about another year being a non major character in a parade. It's mad.
Maybe to be in a show, but people do meet and greets right away otherwise the college program wouldn't work
I also definitely Star Wars Weekends casting calls only a few months before the event and that includes the dance parties and shit
Maybe they used to rigorously vet you but they can attract so much talent from around the world that it's probably more efficient to only hire people who hardly need to be trained determined through in-depth auditions
Seems like they cut out quite a bit of footage, according to the trailers.
I think there's one part in the trailer with Gamora undressing with StarLord, implying their relationship is supposed to be deeper.
Then again, I believe a lot of what was in the trailers was filmed specifically for the trailers.

I'm glad that didn't make it into the final cut to be honest, would've made it uncomfortable for mostly everyone.

According to the art book they cut a scene of Drax explaining what all his tattoos mean.

source: I worked at Disney World. This is completely wrong.
I'm shocked and horrified
does it hurt to feel so wrong.
because it should
Stop the fighting, you're tearing this family apart :~(
Finally got around to seeing this today. I'm bracing myself for the flood of disagrees but I sort of found the film to be disappointing in the sense that it satisfied my expectations but did not exceed them. It's like a good pizza. It's filling and eating it is great but you know what you're gonna get. It's not going to blow your mind as some culinary masterpiece but by no means is it a bad meal.
I still had a fun time though and it did a great job of being unique and establishing a greater universe outside of MCU's earth, so it was money well spent.

you went to see a cape film with the expectations similar to that of eating a culinary masterpiece?

Yes. Iron Man, DOFP, Cap 2, and the Avengers were all critically acclaimed like this film, but honestly I can't place it on that high of a pedestal. It's my least favorite of the best Marvel films so it's still great. Just wanted a little more.
Saw it in the cinema. It was pretty fucking rad
Can't wait to see it later though on a smaller screen and 2d so I can get more out of it

Personally I think Avengers is one of the weakest Marvel films.
I need more hulk in my life, the hulk is awesome. I still love the old Hulk film. Hell, I still drink from a Hulk mug.

Watch the Planet Hulk animated film.

For me that was Iron Man 2 and Cap 1

I love it because I have large hands and the handle can hold all four of my fingers. Mug itself is pretty sizable, too. Apprently it's "Official Movie Merchandise" though can't find shit from google.

yeah that's from the ang lee hulk film.
i kind of want to rewatch it even though i still pretty much have the whole movie in my head despite only seeing it once in theaters.
2003 Hulk for best Hulk.
My brother saw this recently.
It feels nice to hear him say "it was amazing!" when his first response to it when I told him about it was "that's that stupid movie with the talking fox, right?"

I had the same feeling after getting two of my friends to go see it after they already dismissed it as stupid. They loved it.
I understand that Ironman 2 was shit, but what's the hate for Captain America?
I understand that Ironman 2 was shit, but what's the hate for Captain America?
The first one was.. rather weak.
first half was great but they threw most of what made it good out of the window on the second one
Captain America was just really hokey because Captain America will always be hokey
captain america was satire within itself
seriously did you guys not realize how the second half of the film is exactly what's in all his little movies during the star spangled man bit
the guy grows into the character and brings it to the frontlines with him, it's ridiculously over the top for a reason
Captain America was just really hokey because Captain America will always be hokey
That's why I fucking love it though.
It feels more like Indiana Jones than the last Indiana Jones movie.
Not saying all Cap movies should have that feeling, but I'm glad that the one taking place in the 40's did.
