What happened in the latest episode?
What happened in the latest episode?
[sp]Dexter and Hannah get back together, Debra knows and is mad, Quinn gets told to stop spying on Zach and he and Jamie plan to move in together. Masuka finds out his daughter works at a titty bar and offers her a less-paying job at the lab. Dexter ignores training Zach and the end of the episode looks like Zach killed the nice neighbor Cassie[/sp]
im so glad these plot lines pay off to something oh wait [editline]12th August 2013[/editline] like rusty said, watching both breaking bad and dexter last night was like watching "how to properly end a series" and "how not to end your series"
$20 says the boyfriend killed her, not the kid. ps you rate me dumb but you'll see
I'll raise and say that Deb did it. You may rate me winner.
I'm hoping Vogel did it, and wanted it to look like Zach did it.
Actually I found that compared to some other episodes this season this one wasn't that bad. Watchable at least for me I guess.
I'm hoping Vogel did it, and wanted it to look like Zach did it.
What would that mean? It just seems like Dexter is going to give up on Zach and kill him, which is the opposite of what Vogel wants
SPOILER ALERT: Saw this on Reddit: http://i.imgur.com/ltZo3dc.png Wat. :pwn:
I dunno what you guys are talking about with this season being the worst. Dexter was always 2-dimensional and dumb. He has two moods for crissakes. Puffed Cheeks and puzzled. Now he's also angry. I'd say they've gone above and beyond the series original scope here.
*pexter doing push-ups, deb walks in* deb in tears: what the fucking fuck are you doing, pexter? pexter's innervoice: by doing these push-ups.. my pecs will get bigger. pexter: i'm doing push-ups to get bigger pecs. ghost harry: pexter! if you keep doing push-ups your pecs will get bigger!
You mean Ghost Barry
You mean Ghost Barry
ghost harry is the constant
Does someone want to count how often Vogel has said the word psychopath? [editline]13th August 2013[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/VTt15gO.jpg[/t]
Enough times that the word has lost most of its value
This show has become like a soap opera.
its been a soap opera for a few seasons man

we have no idea where to go with our prior plotlines RELEASE THE HANNAH
So Hannah was a cold blooded killer and suddenly is a scared little girl looking for her saviour. Dexter was psychopath and suddenly can feel normal emotions and just kills for a hobby. Despite all the shit that has been done with this series, the two statements above are just outrageous. What the hell were the writers thinking?
I think it was obvious by the end of season 1 that Dexter wasn't a completely emotionless, uncaring shell of a human being. He had some sense of connection and care for certain people. He was able to care for and protect Deb, Rita, and her kids. I believe he was even capable of loving them. You can be emotionally/socially lacking without being all or nothing. That's how I saw Dexter through seasons 2-4. He wasn't exactly normal, but he wasn't completely 100% cut off from everyone and everything either. Don't get me wrong, I think at this point he is too normal. He used to have an overwhelming need to kill, now it really is just taken so casually. But I'm just pointing out that he never fit Vogel's definition of "Psychopath" 100%.
I guess he wouldn't ever fit her definition 100% anyway. Even though she is a doctor and knows a lot about people like Dexter, everyone often makes the mistake of thinking that psychopaths are all the same and fit right into one generic personality definition. Psychopaths do have feelings, but these feelings are very different from what normal people feel. But I find it so annoying that the writers just completely turned things around. If giving Dexter all these normal feelings all of a sudden just wasn't enough, they made him dumb, too. The fact that even Debra can think straighter than him is laughable.

It's probably too much to ask for but I wish the season would end with Michael C Hall getting halfway through a scene, then looking up at the camera asking "Really?" Having had enough of the script, he walks off camera and kills all the writers.
Even though the new writers are shit, I gotta give them props for the trinity killer season. It's gotta be close to my favourite season [editline]18th August 2013[/editline] Oh wait, I just looked, that was season 4, not 5. What the fuck did they do with the old writers? Did they quit or something?
I had a dream last night that the episode of Dexter tonight was really, really good Too bad that'll probably never happen since the writers have dug themselves a hole a mile deep and a foot wide and filled it up with shit

The new season just feels so unnatural. Writers have ruined a series I liked.

Alright, Vogel is the brain surgeon no doubt about it
Who else came when Michael C Hall's beautiful ass made an appearance?
