Walt's example is how you take yourself away from your family to protect them... not become a lumberjack. [editline]30th September 2013[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/fUx1xYJ.jpg[/t]
Maybe the alternate ending to Breaking Bad will have Walt become a lumberjack.
Maybe the alternate ending to Breaking Bad will have Walt become a lumberjack.
and he works with Dexter to make blue lumber blue wood 2 op
Just watched the ending. Interesting, but... vague. I have to admit I'm genuinely surprised that they'd [sp]kill off Debra in the end, she's the last character you honestly expect to die. Still, the whole lumberjack thing seemed kind of unnecessary... What, is he going to come back? I don't know, it was all very strange.[/sp]
Welcome to the club, your seat is over here
Lol I love how the Dexter thread has died off and Breaking Bad has at least 25+ posts every time I check it.

If you watched this show from season 5 until the end, it was your own damn fault. When your stock prices start to plummet (like the quality of writing), you get out while you can.

The more I think on how the show ended, the sadder it makes me. They could have gone in some pretty crazy directions with this series. The end just felt like a regular season end... If I were Michael Hall I'd be pissed at putting so many years into it just to have it 'hard cut' like that. A shitty legacy to leave for the Dexter name.

Nothing would have happened except you didn't waste 52 hours of your life. [editline]5th October 2013[/editline]
The more I think on how the show ended, the sadder it makes me. [editline]5th October 2013[/editline] He's laughing all the way to the bank. What does he care?
I dunno. Michael C Hall has intervened in the past. The video game guy Lewis, who seemed to be randomly written in and out with no purpose, had a different story originally. In season 7 he was supposed to become a serial killer that Dexter had to take down, but Hall demanded they rewrite. He said it was dumb and unrealistic to have two sociopath killers working at Miami Metro. They listened to him and had to kill him off instead. Whether he tried to intervene this season I have no clue. Obviously nobody has to listen to him and they probably would have shot him down. Most likely he said nothing. And by the end, if he did happen to realize what a train wreck it was, it was too late to fix anything.
I still think Lewis should have been more of a normal guy turned crazy killer by his obsession with Dexter, they could have had him find out what Dexter does and start emulating him after snapping once Dex got him fired. But if anybody knows anything about where they should've taken the show, its not me, nor is it the writers according to the shit they pulled.
I hated his entire character. It was a blatant appeal to ~gamer~ characters and those are always repulsive. All his ~hacking~ and his ~gamer~ apartment. Jesus. Oh your game looked shit btw
To be fair, he did get working characters that represented everyone in the department in the two days he'd been there.

You know, everywhere I go I read these comments where people say "How did he even survive the hurricane?!". Thought that was really obvious though... They very intentionally put in that scene with the old bloke looking to buy his boat, and Dexter (pretty obviously) comments that it has all the fancy radar systems, autopilot, and an emergency craft. The whole point of that scene was clearly to explain those points so his 'escape' made 'sense', because that scene otherwise had no purpose. Seems pretty clear to me?
Not really, and depending on what category hurricane it was (probably 1-3), then it would have winds between 80-130mph, huge rogue waves, heavy rain. Good luck surviving that in something that's barely more than a dinghy. And don't tell me that it was his dark passenger's survival instinct that allowed him to ride out the storm or some bullshit like that
But, if they took a page from the books, his dark passenger would be an ancient god, and thus, would have protected him from the winds of a Florida hurricane.
But, if they took a page from the books, his dark passenger would be an ancient god, and thus, would have protected him from the winds of a Florida hurricane.
Last scene of Dexter is him fistfighting the human personification of his dark passenger on his boat during the hurricane

He dumps the body, gets the boat going, hits the autopilot and bails out in the emergency craft. Sure there would have been the insane weather to deal with but this is a TV show and acknowledging that wouldn't gel with the writers so they just ignore it. Which is a shitty way to go.
After not watching an earlier episode of Dexter in years, I finally went back to re-watch the entire series(Probably going to skip past Trinity.) Holy fuck this show is good, the last two season have really made me forget how good this show used to be.
Why would you ever skip past Season 4.
Here's the complete blu-ray collection: [t]http://i.imgur.com/v7hPXi5.jpg[/t] I'm glad they went with that design choice. I know people were hoping they'd do something like it, never thought they would though. Not that it makes the show itself any more worth watching. Here's the exclusive collection(same thing, but different packaging): [t]http://i.imgur.com/Gx1UYnC.jpg[/t]
Do they all conveniently fit into the head so it's easier to smash all the discs that are past season 4?
