Just finished watching the finale. God this show is so depressing and sad.. I mean, look at how amazing it was at season 1. It was like a movie every episode, it was super quality in writing and how it was shot and compare it to the current writers who were fucking awful.

I thought 7 was okay.
I hated how they introduced Hannah in Season 8.
They made it seem like she was this incredibly important character that has made waves throughout the entire series, but she'd only been in 1 season (the previous one), and hadn't not been there for more than like 5 episodes.
I'm probably late to the party but Hannah was a shit character.
Its a shame too because Yvonne Strahovski is a good actor

She was pretty good in Chuck, if you're going to judge her based on her performance in Dexter 7/8, just remember all she's doing is what the writers and directors and producers tell her to do

No, most surprising is that the beginning of S7 ranks higher than every episode in s1, tying with its finale. That shit is just ridiculous.

Hannah McKay was interesting only because people (including myself) like Yvonne Strahovsky. Similar thing could be said about Isaac Sirko and Ray Stevenson, but at least he had some purpose and got some decent writing.
I remember that the only things that were giving me any hope for Season 8 was these two teasers:
