Anyone else think it was really stupid that [sp]LaGuerta was demanding that Debra shoot Dexter, as if on the spot execution was the only option?[/sp]
The show had jumped the shark loooong before that
What would you guys say the "Jump the Shark" moment was?
Unless I'm forgetting something, I find it to be that Dexter/Devil mural from S6. You know, this one:

The one he covered up by caving in the face.
When Season 6th started abandoning any plotline from previous season, because it meant that it made literally no difference. Lumen could be virtually non-existent, Quinn hasn't changed towards Dexter but one bit, [sp]Rita's death[/sp] had no impact at all.
But yeah, the exact "There's no hope left" moment will be that ridiculous painting.
That fingerprint scanning app Dexter used on his phone was pretty funny, too.
I like how if you completely removed the character of Quinn it would make no difference at all to the story.
Why does everyone on this show have an Alienware laptop?
God dammit, I have an Alienware laptop.
Now I'm just as bad.

A lot of Macbook pro placement in the last two seasons or so.
Ok, so first, it was Brian, then Lila, then Miguel, Then Arthur, so does it keep following the same one-arc-one-season formula?
it does until season 7 sort of, and sort of 8 but it doesnt really matter
If you've just seen S4,
STOP, trust us
Ok, so i accidentally moused over a later point of the episode on netflix, and now i know that [sp]Arthur kills Rita[/sp] :suicide:
Honestly, there's no point in watching anymore if you know that, imo.
Arthur's a good character. He's really making me feel sick to my stomach.
Easily my favourite line of the show.
"Hellooo, Dexterrr Morrgaaannnnn"
He's like a more emotional Gman or something.
S6 E11 [sp]THANK FUCK that was just a dream[/sp]
wait, they Seriously killed [sp]Mike, just like that!?[/sp]
[editline]2nd February 2014[/editline]
Oh god my merge
Thats only part of how inconsequential Miami PD gets
who is mike even?
Wasn't he the [sp]Private Investigator that was tracking Dexter because of Quinn?[/sp]

Yep.

I had to Google the name to remember who he was. So many forgettable characters in the later seasons...
Oh, no, that's the detective that transferred from Chicago or some whatever.
I was thinking of the old white guy that was busted for solicitation.

Buggered if I can remember who that was haha
Buggered if I can remember who that was haha
You know, the old, dirty cop that Quinn [sp]hires to tail Dexter and figures out that he's a mass-murdering psychopath, which forces Dexter to kill him, magically making Quinn forget that he suspected Dexter or anything.[/sp]
Ohhhh THAT guy! Yeah I remember him now... Memory like a sieve.
Hold on a fucking minute, they set [sp]Louis[/sp] up as a MAIN FUCKING ANTAGONIST, so they could [sp]kill him?[/sp] Just like that?
Who the hell wrote this?
I forget where I read this (probably reddit, so it's probably wrong), but they did so because [sp]the original plan was to have him be a copycat serial killer of Dexter's, but Michael C Hall asked them to ditch the storyline since something happened in the media about someone murdering another person and citing the show.[/sp]
Hahahaha oh my god Isaak's [sp]gay?[/sp]
Jesus christ seriously WHO wrote this?
I want to like Micheal, but I keep hearing stuff about how he was part of the reason the show got a one-way ticket to Turdville.

I saw the interview.[sp]It wasn't about recent events or anything. He thought it would be really dumb if there were two serial killers working at the same exact police department.[/sp]
