[sp]That's another issue I've got with the later seasons: the fact that they've made Dexter so overly emotional. When it started off he had no feelings, and one of the main themes of the show was that he had to pretend to actually have feelings. He was living two lives: the life of an emotionless serial killer and the life of a geeky forensics expert that no one would suspect. They didn't even do a good job at explaining why he kept getting more and more emotional.
I really hope they bring up the fact that Deb shot LaGuerta with her own gun, because there's no way in hell that that would get past the police. And as I said earlier: Dexter losing control is out of character for him and it seems so forced. I mean, he literally just freaks out at random and there's no clear explanation to why. Sure, he's had minor freak outs before, but all those times he was in some kind of trouble. He isn't in trouble now, everything is going well for him.[/sp]
[sp]I have to say, I understand the freakouts over Deb because he's always been protective of her and it's probably the only person and even thing that he's always cared about.
As for the other freakouts, they're hit and miss in my opinion, some make sense to me and others just seem off-character.[/sp]
I don't understand this show anymore.

Hey at least that's different from Season 7 where everyone had correctly predicted the plot by episode 4.

give it another three weeks...

Hey, at least that's better than season 6 when everybody predicted the twist after the first episode.
The first episode of the new season had a new kind of Deb's freakouts. At this point I'll finish it because I have nothing better to do and I saw all the previous seasons but it might actually break me this time.

Oh wait this is season 8 isn't it. Yeah I was talking about 6. I hold 7 in some higher regard.
Oh god, I got a censored version and the scenes with Debra are annoying as shit

I was finally able to watch episode one from season eight. And wow, I actually didn't have to watch this episode except for the last 5 minutes or so. Every important scene was shown in the trailers/previews making everything I saw today completely lame.
(But I like the fact where they are heading to)
6 human months : 4 Harrison years.

Dexter = Big Boss
Harrison = Solid Snake
Harrison confirmed for killing Dexter in the finale.

This is the exact reason i don't watch trailers or episode previews anymore
Is that Deb having sex in the picture above?

Quinn and Angel's sister. Also she's hot.
I have a bad feeling about this season, the writers better not disappoint me again. Season 7 was an improvement, but still not up to par with what I know their potential can be.
How can people disagree with a question.
Oh well. Do you see tits?

People disagreed with it being Deb obviously.
dexter gettin angry and doin stupid shit is so god damn stupid. i hate how they shoehorned in his 'lack of control' when he never had one before.

in the first few i mean. this bullshit started a few seasons ago when he went off and shot at signs on a highway. it's so dumb it hurts
It started before that in s5 when he beat the random guy to death in the bathroom 'cause he was angry

That happened in the first episode right after BIG SPOILER SEASON 4 [sp]Rita's death[/sp]. It was a bit more justified than the episode with Brian and the newest episode.

I still can't forgive them destroying probably the best idea the new writers had with replacing Harry with Brian. It could be a terrific season, instead we got it dumbed to one mediocre episode.

Calling it now: this final season will end with Dexter realizing that he was never truly a psychopath and that he can be a "real" human being with emotions and what not.
reaches its climax in just under a week’s time
So everything after is just going to be a dwindling series of disappointment?
Calling it now: this final season will end with Dexter realizing that he was never truly a psychopath and that he can be a "real" human being with emotions and what not.
That seems very likely to happen at some point. Hope it's not the actual ending though, considering it's been obvious since the season 1 finale.
I hope they don't do it like season 6 [sp]when he thought he could change and forgive Nick, then deciding it was impossible. I don't want him to say "Maybe I can have emotions," then an episode later say "I was wrong, I'm still a cold, emotionless monster." He had better realize he has feelings(and has all along), I'm afraid he will and then take that statement back.[/sp]
To be honest, at this point Dexter is a guy with emotions, with sudden moments of extreme rage and hobby that involves killing people. There's almost nothing left that made Dexter special. He's dumb and can't see possible consquences of his actions.
I really miss the calculated intelligent serial killer that Dexter used to be.
Dumbest scene was probably [sp] the one where he gets mad and attacks a guy that cuts him off in the streets with his truck. [/sp]
Man Laguertas sister knows how to fuck she should be on Brazzers or some shit
I don't know what to think so far, I wanted to know more about Laguerta's death, after all didn't Deb shoot her with her own department issued fire arm? I was expecting this season to go in a completely different direction than it has, everything seems a bit over the top at the moment.
Didn't Dex shoot (or told Harry he would) her bullet wound with the criminals gun afterwards or am I imagining things
