Just finished 7 and it really isnt that good. I mean Laguerta was super fucking annoying. However the last episode when [s]Doakes[/s] shows up that was awesome just to here those words again

Well sure it was predictable as hell, but it was a welcome break from the religious shit and cardboard acting from Colin Hanks of season 6 and the absolute monotony of season 5.
Plus things actually started happening with the beginning of Dexter being found out. Also I liked Hannah the most as a SO for Dexter compared to the others.
damn. we got a really unique and interesting adversary for dexter who could possibly turn into something more.. lets kill him off and focus on a relationship that is inevitably going to break down.
they've redone the "dexter made a friend... but did he???" since season 2
Season 7 was pretty good outside of the Hannah arc. Everything involving Isaak was pretty great, and it was off to a great start. Nowhere near as good as Seasons 1, 2, and 4, but still better than the rest imo.

they shouldn't have ended the Isaak arc [sp]before the end of the season[/sp], the Phantom or whatever he was called was really dumb.
I think he wasn't around for the full season because he couldn't fit it in his schedule? I remember someone saying last year that he was in the new Thor movie, and had to film that shortly after his time on Dexter.

Did everyone forget to watch the next episode? It was actually a bit more entertaining than the first two, and I think the next one's going to be pretty good based on the setup and the preview.
Pretty confident that [sp]Vogel isn't the killer, the scene where she was alone, gets the text and finds the boxes, she was alone. Unless she was acting for the camera (how meta), she looked legitimately shocked.[/sp]
It's clearly that [sp]Elway is the killer. He is regularly appearing in this season, and he's poisoning Debra with that mysterious "electrolytes".[/sp]
I'm not even kidding, this writers are able to pull this through for sake of a shitty twist.

By that I mean she has no empathy for her patients and uses them for her psychological experiments. Now Dexter got a part of brain responsible for vision because he can't see the true nature of Vogel. I know it's a bit silly to talk about out-of-character moments at this point but Dexter getting disgusted when he find out the soup had human parts in it wasn't right. That guy clearly didn't saw Hannibal on NBC. He could learn a thing or two. Or some recipes.
You guys keep saying "its obvious that [insert character here] is the killer" or whatever, and I've heard you guys say Vogel, Elway, Debra, etc. Seems like you really don't know who. Since the show has ran past its time, I agree that I expect one of the 3 to be involved in the twist, lets wait it out for now.

And I still think Vogel is responsible for the crimes. Perhaps she's pulling the strings and influencing this former patient of hers to kill, much as she's influencing Dexter to kill him by having her life endangered by the former patient.
