Ain't it the truth?
It is.
It is.
dude, just a little while ago you were trying to convince everyone that being gay was terrible and unnatural. You and the republicans are a match made in heaven.
Doesn't make you intelligent or productive. You have no clue what communism entails. And you think Capitalism is super sweet, even though it has been historically proven to be a cluster fuck of fail You're in the Swiss IB, that means I'm older then you. The Soviet Union was never communist. I am. Stateless, classless society. Think of a commune but on a massive scale. Like Sweden, or Denmark, or France or- oh :( they're democratic socialist, nvm. I didn't say that, you did. Just pointing out how retarded it is. [editline]01:09AM[/editline] Yeah, you're mistaken. Thanks for admitting it. They aren't doing that... now? [editline]01:10AM[/editline] Not really. good try though, mccarthy. [editline]01:11AM[/editline] oh hey it's boba fett with ANOTHER stupid post. Yes, all recipients of Welfare get drunk and blame the rich... as opposed to the Conservatives and Libertarians who get fat and blame the poor. [editline]01:11AM[/editline] No, you're jus' trollin [editline]01:11AM[/editline] That's like admitting you're autistic.
What was the Soviet Union then? Communism has been proven to be much much worse than capitalism. Also if you're such an ardent communist why have you not risen up to fight the bourgeoisie oppressors? In Pol Pot's world you would have been killed for being intellectual, well not much of one, but still. I might not be that intelligent, but at least i'm educated. Also its not the Swiss IB its just the international baccalaureate, you should've looked it up first. A stateless, classless society would never exist, simply because we are human. We create leaders and social groups no matter what. Thus there would never be a society in which people are just one big 'commune', i'm sure you were part of some social group and you had some government controlling you, you still do and it works better than an anarchy filled shithole country ruled by some proletariat bullshit. Oh and look how France is doing, real great. Taking away the right to express their religious ideas, etc...
Okay, let me say that I am a Republican. I am also gay. These two things seem to contradict each other. But, I am not an extreme Republican, which I hate. I hate extremes of both parties, extreme Democrats can be righteous do-gooder assholes while extreme Republicans can be homohating Bible-thumping douchebags. I agree with Republican economic values and ideals as well as governmental system, but I prefer Democratic social views. I also don't really give a shit about global warming, I constantly argue against it, but I do love the environment and hate pollution. So I'm a big fucking mix.
What was the Soviet Union then?
The Soviet union was a totalitarian police state.
Also if you're such an ardent communist why have you not risen up to fight the bourgeoisie oppressors?
I'm a Reformist.
I might not be that intelligent, but at least i'm educated. Also its not the Swiss IB its just the international baccalaureate, you should've looked it up first.
Not really. I did look it up "IB offers three educational programmes for children ages 3–19."
A stateless, classless society would never exist, simply because we are human.
A stateless, classless society would never exist,
too bad it has already, both as a phase of society in past in the form of hunter-gatherer societies and, more modernly, as a commune. the most famous of one being the Paris Commune also what do you have to say about the nostalgia many people in former socialist countries feel for their former governments? east germans, former yugoslavs, and many russians look fondly back on the days of socialism. even some romanians admit life was easier under (IMO a very deprived version of) socialism. also what does france have to do with communism? also pol pot was not a communist.
I already pointed to that you jerk [editline]11:59PM[/editline] I rate you clock [editline]11:59PM[/editline] no, I lie, I vote you <3
Pol pot was the general secretary of the communist party of Kampuchea. Nice try, troll. Also, there is a fatal spelling hint that shows you just googled the subject. Whilst commenting on the Swiss IB schooling structure, you spelled it "programme" just as central Europeans do. You would only know this by looking it up and going on a info site.
Pol pot was the general secretary of the communist party of Kampuchea. Nice try, troll.
And the Congo is called a democratic Republic is it?
Also, there is a fatal spelling hint that shows you just googled the subject. Whilst commenting on the Swiss IB schooling structure, you spelled it "programme" just as central Europeans do.
Pol pot was the general secretary of the communist party of Kampuchea.
except pol pot was a feudalist agrarian anti-intellectual and in no way communist. instead of industrializing the country, he tried to agrarianize it. also it's interesting that the US supported the Khmer Rogue when they were forced out of cambodia by vietnam, the US government referred to them as the legitimate government and it to be an illegal eviction. the nazi party was known as the national socialist german workers' party but it was in no way socialist the party of north korea is known as the korean workers' party, but its socialist credentials are rubbish quite simply, party names do not denote absolutely everything.
I don't even need to read Topher's posts any more. I just automatically give him boxes.
The Soviet union was a totalitarian police state. It's never been implemented, how could it? I'm a Reformist. You're a naive tool if you think Pol Pot was communist. [editline]11:16PM[/editline] how the fuck can you be a gay republican? Oh I see, you share the retarded values and hypocrisy of Republicans WHILE being gay.
What proof do you have then of communism working? Also if I asked the Russian communists working in communes they would probably have said how shit their lives were. The majority of the peasants were poor and on the brink of starving, they had no freedom of movement. The reason I hate communism so much is for two reasons: -it was part of the reason for the Winter War and it was what the Soviet Union wanted to do to my country without any reason or thought about how it is completely and utterly wrong. -It forces everything. Those who were not doing anything bad towards the workers lost their homes, jobs, stores, etc... Why should they have something they worked for taken away from them. That is wrong, everybody has the right to their own property and working for what they own. How would you feel if some communists came to your house and murdered your family because they owned a store? My great grandpa was killed by communists simply because he was a manger at a bank... you think thats right? He should lose his life, thus partially destroying a family, cause hatred, fear and sadness in many people, just because you have a higher paying job? He came from the gulag in Russia and he worked his way up to the top. Suddenly thats wrong, suddenly its his fault the workers are poor? NO its because they are jealous of someone because they expected everything to be handed to them. Maybe they should've worked for it, instead of being whiny bitches about it. Hence why communists are just jealous whiny brats. So what if I'm living in a suburban community. My heritage is that of hard workers, people who risked everything to get to freedom, that freedom being Finland and other Western states. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK FOR WHAT THEY WANT. EVERYBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN PROPERTY AND TO DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH THEIR PROPERTY
The only proof of communism working is small scale, in worker-owned collectives and small co-ops. It has never been tried on a national scale. Again, the USSR was not actually communist. I know it's hard to understand that because there were have been decades upon decades of misinformation spread about the former USSR.

It'd be helpful to get us out of the shithole we're in but this is why we'd need to have a plan after a few years of it. :aaa:
What proof do you have then of communism working?
GJ reading Conscripts post. Small scale communes and working communities. Hell, for the most part, American rural communities.
Also if I asked the Russian communists working in communes they would probably have said how shit their lives were.
This is all biased and speculative.
The majority of the peasants were poor and on the brink of starving, they had no freedom of movement.
Do you honestly think it was better under the Tsar? And yes, slappy, they had freedom of movement.
The reason I hate communism so much is for two reasons:
The reason I hate you is because you make stupid arguments like this:
-it was part of the reason for the Winter War and it was what the Soviet Union wanted to do to my country without any reason or thought about how it is completely and utterly wrong.
I hate Marshmallows. It caused the Vietnam War. See, that has about as much relevance as communism and the winter war. The British oppressed my people, then we fought back. Do I hate Monarchies BECAUSE of that? no, I hate monarchies for other reasons.
-It forces everything.
not really: workers democracy. Nice try, broseph.
Those who were not doing anything bad towards the workers lost their homes, jobs, stores, etc...
What mystical communist country are you talking about? And btw, slappy, the bourgeoisie proffited off the peasant under the Tsar. so that is complete bullshit.
Why should they have something they worked for taken away from them.
hurf
That is wrong, everybody has the right to their own property and working for what they own
durf you do know that's idealism, right?
How would you feel if some communists came to your house and murdered your family because they owned a store?
That wouldn't happen. You don't seem to realize that your enemy was something that didn't exist.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK FOR WHAT THEY WANT. EVERYBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN PROPERTY AND TO DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH THEIR PROPERTY
That's communism, good job bro, you are ignorant.
We Communists have been reproached with the desire of abolishing the right of personally acquiring property as the fruit of a man’s own labour, which property is alleged to be the groundwork of all personal freedom, activity and independence. Hard-won, self-acquired, self-earned property! Do you mean the property of petty artisan and of the small peasant, a form of property that preceded the bourgeois form? There is no need to abolish that; the development of industry has to a great extent already destroyed it, and is still destroying it daily. Or do you mean the modern bourgeois private property? But does wage-labour create any property for the labourer? Not a bit. It creates capital, i.e., that kind of property which exploits wage-labour, and which cannot increase except upon condition of begetting a new supply of wage-labour for fresh exploitation. Property, in its present form, is based on the antagonism of capital and wage labour. Let us examine both sides of this antagonism. To be a capitalist, is to have not only a purely personal, but a social status in production. Capital is a collective product, and only by the united action of many members, nay, in the last resort, only by the united action of all members of society, can it be set in motion. Capital is therefore not only personal; it is a social power. When, therefore, capital is converted into common property, into the property of all members of society, personal property is not thereby transformed into social property. It is only the social character of the property that is changed. It loses its class character.
That's communism, good job bro, you are ignorant.
Hurf durf, the enemy were communists during the Finnish Civil War, wait were they also police state activists? sorry I get mixed up between your bullshit and communism's bullshit. When the revolution in Russia occurred, the property of many was taken away... The workers in the communes couldn't move past a certain area namely communes. The bourgeoisie profited yes, but the Tsar, well one of the last ones created many reforms emancipating the serfs, etc... So thats not gonna be taken into account at all? good job ignoring facts 'slappy'. So are you American then? So all monarchies are the same? nice on the generalizing there. Whats this worker's democracy bullshit? You were just talking about a stateless society. Wasn't communism supposed to go: 1. dictatorship to take away everyone's hard earned property 2. worker's democracy or according to you stateless society? But really it went: 1. Totalitarian Police State that killed millions 2. Collapse and is now a shithole Well that was using Russia as an example, but whatever. Also you don't really understand the significance of the Winter War for Finnish people. It was the war in which Finland learned you really can't trust anyone. Sorry for being an idealist, sorry I'm not some cynical little bitch who whines about the world and how corrupt it is. I was like you when I was 13, I thought the whole world was horrible, people were going to die. But thankfully I already knew communism was absolute bullshit. Communism also would only work if everyone was an idealist... Then I grew up and I realized, there are a hell of a lot of good things in the world. So maybe you should stop being a communist, go get crunk and have some fun for once in your lifetime.
