You're growing into adulthood, why shouldn't your muscles be a part of that growth? It's also the time that all the right growth hormones are present to allow such growth.

Is it possible situps can cause lower back pain? Like really lower back and only when I bend over far. It's almost less of a pain, just feels like something is tight.
It's possible for anything to cause lower back pain; the muscles around the spine, especially the lumbar area, tend to be pretty open to injury. Then again it's also perfectly reasonable for you to just have simply slept funny. Unless you do situps with something hard and heavy right under the lumbar, I think you're fine.

(i'm too anteversed cuz tight hip flexors) so i thought i gotta retroverse a wee bit (while my back is still 100% straight) to counteract the tight hip flexors. well guess wat, no more lumbar tenderness, but my ass isn't sore anyway. only my legs get sore when i deadlift heavy
I mostly get my ass sore on deadlifts.
