spring cutting crew currently cutting on 3200 cals feelsgoodman.jpg
Cutting on 3200 calories, what, are you like 4000 pounds or losing ten thousand worth of calories a day somehow. [editline]4th March 2013[/editline] Tell me your secrets.
the triceps looks weirdly bloated it's funny but wow, that's some good results
My tri's have always been huge in proportion to the rest of my body. Probably why I got the nickname "Triceps" in high school.
6'2 242.8lb as of this morning. don't do any cardio and am a student, lolz
God, your cut is going to be painful once you have to drop these calories down.
God, your cut is going to be painful once you have to drop these calories down.
meh have already successfully cut like 5-6 times on the same amount of calories, give or take a few hundred and messing around with macros. only going for around ~225 which is probably where i'll be happy (something like 10% is good for summertime shredded) [editline]4th March 2013[/editline] trying to keep carbs as high as possible this time so i can maintain most of my strength cuz my last cut was only like a monthish long and i dropped 70lbs on my DL i was pissed
Maintaining strength with carbs, wat. I'm running on anywhere from 0 to 30g carbs daily and I'm still gaining strength, just not mass. Strength mostly has to do with the CNS so if you suddenly can't lift what you used to lift, specially a drastic drop like 70 lbs in a month, its either your form was shit and you were using other muscles to help lift it and you suddenly learned to use a proper form or you were overworking hard.
way under my max, but whatever.
how can you summon your vigor with such gay ass music playing
idk lol heres a 315 clean too

Granted it was a super cut for a month and that's why i lost so much strength, (mind you it went from 530x5 to ~460x5) but the more carbs i have in a day pre-workout the more energy and stamina i have to lift. been cutting for 2 weeks so far and have gone from 570x5 to 575x5 but i'm guessing within the next few weeks it'll probably drop back down

carbs help so much. My problem last year was I wouldn't eat any carbs. I got stronger sure, but not as strong as I would've eating more carbs. Still went from 185 to 260lbs last year though lol. Crazy as hell thinking about it now.
What kinda program do you use? [editline]2nd March 2013[/editline] When i look at everyones progress pics i realise how shitty my abs genetics and v-shape genetics are. goddamnit
I got it from a personal trainer at a local gym (Elexia),it originally is a 8x3 program, but I had to jump the gun and start pushing a lot harder so I do 5x5 instead. But, do you want me to put up every exercise? O.o For Abs, this is what I do two times a week: Jump to 05:53 It's from a Q&A video I did in January, and one of the questions I got was how do I train Abs, which was also the only work out related question. And there you go. The guy in blue thinks he's a plane @ 07:00.... It's recorded at the weight room at work.
gotta love that guy in the black shirt at 6:30 who looks like he's about to do some pullups, then just hangs on the bar and leaves. wtf
gotta love that guy in the black shirt at 6:30 who looks like he's about to do some pullups, then just hangs on the bar and leaves. wtf
People like to hang on the bars in order to stretch out their back. And doing it feels good, although looks weird as fuck.
People like to hang on the bars in order to stretch out their back. And doing it feels good, although looks weird as fuck.
i do this sometimes, my lats orgasm themselves as they stretch out
I believe these are called leg raises.
they're called dragonflies although technically when you bring your legs up you need to basically do a headstand off of the bench. i do them and they're a pain in the ass also rofl @ people stretching ITT just stretch using the exercise itself with a few warmup sets none of this hangy pully shit

At least for now since I imagine that I'm not strong enough, and won't be able to do dragonflies yet.
Well it's not entirely dragonflies, but something in between leg raises and dragonfly. At least for now since I imagine that I'm not strong enough, and won't be able to do dragonflies yet.
took me a good 3 weeks of constantly practising until i was able to do more than 2 or 3 at a time, once you build up that strength specific for this exercise though it works really well
also rofl @ people stretching ITT just stretch using the exercise itself with a few warmup sets none of this hangy pully shit
i believe you've never properly stretched your spine this way, too bad
i believe you've never properly stretched your spine this way, too bad
i believe i'm not doing got dang backward bridge yoga moves when i'm deadlifting and don't need retarded ranges of motion i'm never going to use, no need to stretch your back/whatever part of your body using movements which are outside of the exercises ROM anyways. i have yet to get injured warming up using the exercises themselves
when my spine is so compressed it turns into a black hole i'll worry about it
Give it time, eventually your spine will be the only part left while the rest is somewhere in subspace.
when my spine is so compressed it turns into a black hole i'll worry about it
hahahahahaha also, i forgot this is facepunch.. you mention something about space or science and the rest of the world tags along....
