175lb squat. almost body weight!!!! still lookin fat tho. even at 160lbs (down 55lb from my start point) i had a gut. now i'm sitting around 185, still got the gut. shit sucks.

I'm afraid to see what weight I will be putting up next week. I've had food poisoning since Friday and I've dropped 4lbs, haven't been able to intake creatine or proteins, only carbs. Man, shit sucks. I never want to get sick again.
I feel like I'm a lot stronger than the weights I show. Like when I went against people in football or wrestling or throwing who I know could lift more than me felt a lot weaker.
Functional strength doesn't seem to be directly correlated to how much you lift I suppose. My stats are fairly mediocre but I'm the strongest puncher at my boxing gym and whenever I go out to play sports like football, I just make people fly left and right.
Maybe it's just having better form? IDK anything about those silly sports, though.
it's not form it's just that the body gets better at what you practice the most. it's very specific, every motion/activity is somewhjat different than the other so you can't really be good at everything equally. Just because you squat 500 lbs doesn't make you a good football player, you feelin me?
