When I was 17 I think I was about 255-265 but fatter and softer. Still pretty strong though. Not much of a difference tbh, i haven't gotten any stronger in probably close to a year

I'm looking for some advice, I'm disconcerted by my apparent lack of gains. I've been consistently gaining weight and while I don't think I appear fatter, it feels like I haven't really gained any muscles either. The strength gain is there, albeit slow.

just keep lifting and eating brotha. Gainz come over long amounts of time. I never notice much of a diff from a 10 pound gain or loss with my own body.

Quality muscle takes a long time to build. I've bulked to 210 then cut down to 170 before and then to 210 again and now im back down to 190, and plan on hitting 180 before I bulk again.

I don't know shit about fasting, I originally lost my 100+ pounds simply by doing boxing and eating at a caloric deficit.
Once I hit 200 lbs though and go on my cut, I'd like to try out intermittent fasting, anywhere I could find good documentation on it?

Honestly I dont have any kind of documentation that I'm basing my diet off of. I'm kind of just going off of what feels right and what seems to be working.
For me personally 24 hour fasting periods work great and I usually eat about 1500-2000 cals in one meal every night. I try to eat as much meat as possible with that meal though.
It's a lot harder to lose actual muscle than most people think, you'll just feel kind of deflated but once you start eating again its like you're magically muscular again.
Yeah, you tend to deflate due to emptying your glycogen store and never really restoring it until you bulk again, I'm not really scared of losing muscles. Intermittent fasting just looked interesting to me and it seems more and more people are doing it and it also seems to work well. I don't know if I can eat 1500-2000 cals in a single meal so I'll probably try one of these 18 hours of fasting and 6 hours of window to eat the calories I need.
Do you work out on an empty stomach?

I also assume that strength training or bodybuilding parameters doesn't matter when on a cut to maintain what you have, as long you're still lifting.
I haven't bulked for like 4 month I'm just maintaining my weight, which even as fat as I am, is hard for me. I'm naturally pretty lean and my body really wants to go down to 200-220lbs.

Yeah I workout on an empty stomach in the morning, I usually don't eat until like 11pm.
