Slowly cutting bf for competition in june, still sort of bulking/aiming to build mass but more centric on clean eating and cutting skin fat. 208 in this picture, no pump or anything. This is 2 weeks in from cutting out wheat.

Jelly-mirin. I either have a bit of stretched skin on my abs from being a former fatass or I can't cut no matter how hard I try.

raw or with belt? :o
raw or with belt? :o
When should you use belt/should you ever ?
I'm currently 170cm(5'7), weight 77kg(170lbs).
Current max lifts:
Bench 85kg (187 lbs) x 1
Squat 130kg(287 lbs) x 3
Deadlift 175kg(386 lbs) x 1
Haven't maxed for a while though. Been going to the gym for a year now. Previously played a lot of soccer and floorball so my legs are way stronger than my upper body.
I feel my bench is kind of weak, but the rest is okay, is this okay progress for natty lifting for a year ?

your one year progress = my two years progress (though I'm about 20 pounds lighter than you), and personally I use a belt on big heavy squats and deadlifts exceeding 260 lbs/335 lbs respectively. I have bad scoliosis and my spine and hips are misaligned, and I got a recommendation from my chiropractor (who used to be a powerlifter) to wear a belt on relatively heavy sets to avoid injury. He's got a degree and I don't, so I listen to his words of advice, and they've helped so far.
Ok, i've been thinking about using belt during squats. Recently discovered that i don't have the bar completly straight i.e one side of the bar is a bit infront of my body and the other side is a bit behind.
dont use a belt crew and squat 400+lbs atg.
queef i dont think im ready to join fatphuckcrew quite yet
and you should consider flexibility as well; my bar alignment was pretty bad but once i started shoulder flexibility exercises, it got a lot straighter.
I use belt now
Much better. Squatting is comfortable as fuck. Went from 325 1 RM to 345 Easily @ 165 lbs

brb benching 205 at 150 lbs swag
fuck how are you guys so fucking strong
thinking the same feeling so weak bro, though I guess cutting and going for the 12 reps instead of my usual 6 reps doesn't help.
Also the fact that I've been working at my home gym all the time and my gains have been going like 4 times faster at the actual gym.
Oh well, I have a decent foundation to work on now that I'm finally at the gym.
I feel life 12 reps is a waste of time, you already mastered that weight, time to move forward and increase the weight...
fuck how are you guys so fucking strong
shit ive almost been lifting for two solid years now(first year didnt really count since it was really half-assed and i had no idea what i was doing). as long as youre kicking your own ass then thats all that matters
also if you're lifting +10 reps you're wasting your time IMO, no gains to be had there. kick it up 10 more pounds and get back down to 5.

Yeah I feel the same, just want to try for that there mass, I'm still skinnyfat at best :((

If I recall correctly, I have a year of bagwork where I lost weight, then a year of not knowing what the fuck I was doing and a year of knowing what I'm doing and only recently did I start the gym.
Fuck that I'm getting on the ten rep program. Hit that weight for 10, then add 5-10lbs and go at it again and so on. It's hard to fuck up and I respond a lot better to high volume then low rep schemes I figured out. Sucks cuz I haven't done volume for so long.
I should have done that. I made about 8 reps with 37.5kg dumbbells chest press and I went for 40kg today... could barely lift up 5 haha
no homo but how the fuck do you take a decent selfie, srs
my phone camera sucks donkey dick and warps the perspective around the edges, so it makes my lats literally nonexistent and makes me look soft and mushy
All I have is my webcam camera and it makes me look ugly while I'm fucking sexy.

its kinda annoying being all the way back at square one like i am but its kinda nice to be grounded again
im thinking in about another week ill be at where i was when i was forced to quit a year ago

Shit that is a good layout for a spreadsheet. What the fuck have I been doing with mine...I don't know why I got so lazy and minimalistic with my workout log.
liftan for 4 months, cutting, lost 4kg in 5 weeks, having noobgains too
