A week left until the deadline kicks in :) c'mon! moar contributions! :D
I'm just about done on this end, does marmoset toolbag count as a realtime renderer? Also, how important is texture size?
--Disregard this, new version below--
The rust is really strong. Floating details work really well for normal maps. why did you have problems with them? it's super easy if you set it up right. Also, I doubt I'll be able to do this. I started on something but I just don't have the time now. [editline]4th April 2012[/editline] your info thing says the texture sheets are 2047. Should be 2048 since 2047 isn't 2^n lol

New version of the "human holder", this time with (what I hope looks like) more realistic weathering. [t]http://i.imgur.com/mv90u.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/v4jZ8.jpg[/t] Doubleposts errywhere
how does it open?
There's a section along the back here I was planning on modelling an interior, but I got delayed and figured there wouldn't be time. Plus i'm pretty damn lazy, there's that too.

well then [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/96/95390/highpoly.png[/t] [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/96/95390/wires.png[/t] [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/96/95390/view2.png[/t] [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/96/95390/view1.png[/t]

Ohshit, forgot about this. One more day until the contest is closed. Also, great contribution, Juniez.
After deliberation, me and Domino have decided that gothiclampshade takes first prize, with Juniez' coming in as a close second. Congratulations!
My reason for choosing Gothiclampshade: The model have good poly distribution and looks fantastic. The metal surfaces really sell it, and the rust is excellently made. It looks fairly photo realistic.
Well thanks, i'm glad you liked it. I was hoping to see some more contributions, though, I know there's loads more digital artists on facepunch. And Juniez, which prize would you rather have? I'm not really fussed
Well I already have Mafia 2 so I'd love the $20 steam gift if that's okay with you?
If Gothiclampshade agrees, he can contact the user who offered Mafia 2. Juniez, you can go look over the Steam store, and send me a PM with your e-mail address and choice of game. :3
