If it turned out I was wrong in my atheism, and there was actually a god, and there was actually some dude with a stoner beard called jesus who was the son of that god, and all that good stuff, and he walked into the room: No. I wouldn't want to serve him. I serve nobody.
As we all know, stereotypical Jesus wears a toga. And since togas do not include pants... No pants, no service.
People tend to forget that atheism means only one thing: lack of belief in a god.
Yeah but what if people are Buddhists or Taoists, etc etc?
Shit, I had one of those religious teachers at my old school...always "subtly" trying to talk about Jebus and such... Religious people just need to really shut the fuck up sometimes..
Why didn't you say that you were an atheist? You're the reason so many people still think we're just a tiny minority that doesn't matter.
Good question. This teacher is under the insane notion that anyone who is not an adult can't have their own philosophical beliefs and she is very stubborn. I didn't say it because she would probably say that I wasn't, because I'm too young to have an independent mind. That would just piss me off and I would argue with her and most likely get suspended. Disaster averted?
You're an idiot. Many atheists I know believe that Christ did exist, but isn't the son of (a) God. If Jesus did exist, that doesn't mean what he is said to be is absolutely true.
no if he walked into your room then he really would have reincarnated and you'd still be wrong
One of my friends constantly bitched about learning evolution in 8th grade, claiming that it's impossible or something stupid, so we don't need to learn it.
I got a U in Religious Education for GCSE, because I really just didn't try. Okay there was some questions where it asks you to discuss and compare religious beliefs, which were okay although tedious, but then most of the questions naturally assumed that you were a Christian and I just didn't bother writing anything.
Yeah but what if people are Buddhists or Taoists, etc etc?
If someone follows a religion that does not acknowledge the existance of a deity, they can still be an atheist.
Thank God I live in the UK :smug:

it means unsatisfactory you get them on a report card or seomthing
People tend to forget that atheism means only one thing: lack of belief in a god.
Unless you own a dictionary and see that it's actually "a complete disbelief".
