I listen to a pretty broad spectrum of music, right now I'm going through an electronica phase though.
Metal is my favourite but I also like techno/DnB.
Hadouken and Enter Shikari are dominating my playlist atm, they're like a Techno-Grime-Indy infusion of ravetasticness. Youtube them, don't think theres anything like this coming out of America atm anyway.
Mostly stoner rock but also space/psychedelic rock.
Post hardcore. All the way.
I used to love AC/DC and Led Zep and Guns 'N' Roses, all that kind of stuff.
I kinda grew out of it though, I like most metal, progressive, death, metalcore, deathcore, experimental, a little thrash.
I also like the violin and cello, plus classical stuff and softer more mainstream stuff like Flyleaf and Tool.
I like so much music, but I'd have to say it's mainly guitar driven :v:
I don't get how you can "grow" out of a certain type of music...?
I mean. Shit son, Ive been listening to the same stuff as when I was a wee little lad.

Then I guess your musical taste and sense isn't evolving at all

Evolution isn't necessarily the same as obsolescence in music. I agree some music is definitely "juvenile" but I would argue against "evolving" tastes meaning that we strip music away that we enjoyed when we were younger.

Enter Shikari is Post-Hardcore by the way, and they freakin' rock!
My favorite genre would be the Progressive genre with metal leanings.

Generally I get into a new genre, I don't starting un-liking old ones.
I like pretty much all of it, but my favorites are Metal, Rock, and Blues.
Electronica, Electro House, Drum N' bass, Dubstep, Jungle, Breakbeat, etc.

Not necessarily, but it certainly is proof that ones musical taste is evolving at all
