Also what people need to stop thinking is that depression is an illness. The sooner you realize it's not an illness/disease the sooner you get out of it.
I hate how people like to call everything illnesses/diseases, they make it worse for the 99.9% of the other people who actually want to get out of it (and if you think it's an illness/disease, you'll hardly think you can get out of it easily). Ever seen Bloody Mary on South Park? That episode hit the nail on the head.
i dont even know
she woke me up at 6 and told me to go to school at 7, which is almost 2 hours earlier than when i usually go
im afraid she has brain damage or something
shes also putting fruit and other things thats not supposed to be in the sink, in the sink
also she has a slur in her voice, and she keeps thinking that i have to do something at 7am
Some of these things are actually symptoms of a seizure. Some of them are a symptom of a stroke. With her history as youve described to us, there is a high chance she might be having one or the other so you may want to get her to the hospital to get checked out.
If you're depressed, an online forum full of people who aren't satisfied with their own lives will probably not be much help.
I understand if you have friends on FP, but posting for EVERYONE to see? Would probably just make it worse.
December is a great month for me. New Years, My Birthday, Christmas. Its wonderful.
But its also pretty bad for some of my friends. Some dont even come into school at christmas time.
do i get to be sad?

Eh, I know it's pretty much an accepted "law" that everyone on FP is a depressed, socially awkward nerd, but I really doubt everyone is. Actually I doubt more than 20% are.
I'm old enough to drink, so I just get so wasted that my unintentionally racist Grandma is the funniest person on Earth, makes Christmas dinner much more entertaining.
People need to cheer up a little.
I like the phrase "Huxtable-era sweaters."
I also like the fashion--brightly patterned sweaters feel like familiar territory.

Depression as a feeling is not an illness, no.
But if you have ever paid attention in school, to medical reports, etc, you find out that:
When you have that "life sucks, all of this sucks, there's no reason to live" feeling, and being aware that there is no logical reason to be upset does not solve a damn thing, you realize something pretty significant: when the conscious part of your mind is giving all the reason and belief in the world to be fine or to be one way, and your subconscious part is doing the exact opposite OUT OF YOUR CONTROL, you may just have a problem.
If depression is not a problem, then please explain why the fuck dopamine and serotonin levels and all the like are going haywire in brain scans while the normal brain levels are going "uh, wtf?" and not acting in accordance to normal "upset" brain function.
