i don't think it would as long as you don't keep it all dirty. like, just wipe it off afterwards. there wouldn't be evidence of illegal use so they couldn't count it. pipes and stuff only count if there's residue on them. so, with a scale i doubt they'd have anything conclusive to use.

They can charge you for selling just for having a scale with you along with weed.
oh right, well in conjunction with having bud on you they probably can. i was thinking if he was just walking with a scale in his pocket and nothing else.

Just pretend it's to weight gun powder because you make your own bullets. It's a real use of this type of scales. It isn't logical to weight 20 grams of fruits.
If they find a scale on you they can call probable cause for a search
Don't ever have a scale and weed on you at the same time. If you are caught with weed and a scale you can be charged for dealing. This goes the same if you have lots of little baggies of weed or over an ounce or so. Yes it is paraphernalia when in the company of weed.
