-1 Balista/Axe - First off, this is a very odd choice for obvious reasons. - Alright well this is looking good, I might suggest an indoor environment to avoid wind but that's alright. - Balistas were used in more great numbers, they rained spears upon enemies. - Good god you are comparing a fucking axe to a balista, what is wrong with you? - Impressive an axe that cut's through meat, now why are you comparing an axe to a balista. -2 Crossbow/Bow - Ok first you are making the same mistake AGAIN with Alexander the great. - The crossbows should be used in great numbers - Who the fuck let these variables in. - They should have placed the weapons in a mount to determine their accuracy. -3 Spear/Lasso - Alright test, you could place the spear in a mounted grip but the test is good. - Why are you testing a Lasso against a spear?! - At this point you have invalidated the entire test -4 Swords - You know how scientists try to avoid variables? - Not us, we will put a slab of meat on a rope connected to a spinning device. - I raged at this point, they gave it to Atila the Hun because Alexanders sword did not cut in the same way. Even though they had it on a spinning contraption. - I would also like to point out that Atila will win this test because he gets to go first. The chances of getting the same cut as the first with that device is too fucking low. -5 End cinematic -Too much wrong with this.
Why are you complaining? It's a fucking badass show which probably never had any intent to be even slightly scientific.
1. I lol'd. You're a funny guy. Please show me where this is proven. Protip: Spetznaz don't actually perform backflipping hatchet attacks. $10 says their training and skillsets look almost identical to, oh , every other country's special forces. 2. There are a million inaccuracies, I'm not even going to begin listing them.
Protip: the majority of Russians training to b in the Spetznaz die or get injured to the point they cant be in the Spetznaz during training. The literally chain you to a tree with a file in your hands and say "be home for supper"
The Makarov is better than a Beretta. So stupid that I lol'd
Protip: the majority of Russians training to b in the Spetznaz die or get injured to the point they cant be in the Spetznaz during training. The literally chain you to a tree with a file in your hands and say "be home for supper"
and they still got their asses kicked by the mujahideens, your point?
This is funny as fuck!
I'm surprised they didn't include the clip of the terrorist in the caravan.
Why were the SS using such old weapons? I always thought that the main arsenal for the Waffen SS were like...Mp40's, MG42's, StG44's, luger thingys, K something bolt rifle, and the panzerfaust. This show is dildoes. What the fuck man...no Tiger tank? this show is serious dildoes.
The weapons seemed correct for a 39-41 era SS division. Also, they were the last to receive new weapons and equipment.
I was actually surprised that the P38 blew out the entire back of the skull in one shot. The thing's a 9mm.
Err why is that surprising? [editline]09:43PM[/editline]
Protip: the majority of Russians training to b in the Spetznaz die or get injured to the point they cant be in the Spetznaz during training. The literally chain you to a tree with a file in your hands and say "be home for supper"
Hey dumbass, protip: almost every SF unit in the world has people die or pile up injuries due to intensive training, to the point where they can't remain in their unit. SF around the world, even the best of the best, lose more people to training injuries or deaths, than they do on actual operations. Spetznaz aren't superheros. And if you actually buy into those myths, then they're doing their jobs right. Lemme guess, SAS have to drink poison and survive to pass selection right? Delta force have to fist a crocodile? Navy SEALs have to swim off the coast of Antartica for 4 hours?
I'm pretty sure this is about who would win 1vs1, not who would win army vs army. Idiots.
No, the show is retarded, there is no scientific process involved, and the Spetznaz vs Green Beret episode is an example of that.
Hah. "Ex-Spetsnaz" my ass. Wouldn't those guys get killed for defecting Russia?
I'm pretty sure this is about who would win 1vs1, not who would win army vs army. Idiots.
Pretty sure you're missing the point, so I wouldn't call others idiots until you check that problem yourself. Regardless of whether it's army vs army, or man vs man, it's still a retarded show with no scientific process and ridiculous matchups that define stupidity.
God the Shaolin episode is fucking awesome [editline]02:11AM[/editline] Okay I lol'd when he said, "The computer's probably Chinese."
Oh god, the monks are completely beyond bad ass... to be honest. An army of monks W/ any weapon VS any army, that would be one hell of a war. Monk VS Spartan would've made far more sense, a ninja isn't going to do shit to shit, let alone a sparta, who would basically tear the ninja's spine out and beat it to a bloody pulp, threw its chest. Spartan VS knight (Bad ass tank VS Bad ass tank...) Ninja VS Pirate
Oh god, the monks are completely beyond bad ass... to be honest. An army of monks W/ any weapon VS any army, that would be one hell of a war.
To be fair, an army of monks would not be effective strategically. Monks tend to not attack, leaving the enemy with more than enough to put a strangle hold on them eventually.
and they still got their asses kicked by the mujahideens, your point?
The Spetsnaz weren't the ones getting their asses handed to them in Afghanistan, it was the normal army that was having the most trouble fighting the mujaheddin. The Spetsnaz were preforming pretty well.
They should totally do the 100 rangers VS 12000 British soldiers.
It's fucking stupid, on the IRA versus Taliban, they decided that the IRA used flamethrowers and the Taliban would use RPGs, fair enough for the Taliban, but the IRA used RPGs as well. The IRA handed in 7 flamethrowers at the weapons decommission in 2005, and 20 RPGs. The show also depicted them with M16s, but the IRA used a variety of rifles, including the AK-47, but they couldn't use them in the show because the Taliban were using them. And a slingshot? What the fuck?
They both use run and gun tactics though, the final showdown should've been how many police stations/ convoys they could bomb. [editline]02:44PM[/editline]
They should totally do the 100 rangers VS 12000 British soldiers.
Soldiers would win.
I demand Red Army VS. United States Army, but they'll probably fuck it up anyway.
I want to see a US marine go against a Spartan Warrior in a melee fight.
I want to see a US marine go against a Spartan Warrior in a melee fight.
This is the deadliest warrior. They would compare a Ranger to a Spartan with M4A1/Holographic Sight vs. Shield/Sword. :v:
This is a silly fun show, I don't get the fuss over it.
why did morgan freeman have a huge penis in this movie?
This is the deadliest warrior. They would compare a Ranger to a Spartan with M4A1/Holographic Sight vs. Shield/Sword. :v:
Spartan would probably win aswell.
why did morgan freeman have a huge penis in this movie?
I don't even know what the dick you're talking about.
Spartan would probably win aswell.
In a melee fight, yeah he would.
I don't know if you guys know this, but I made this show. brb, getting proof. Shit, it's great to meet the makers. Can you do more gun centric episodes, I'm getting tired of seeing people cut things.
Nope
I didn't know you were a director, Demetri Martin...
